Snoop Around: QVC PRESS DAY

Few weeks ago I was invited to attend the QVC Italia Press Day in Milan.

I've already been to another Press Day, and even this time I really enjoyed it!

It's a nice opportunity to check out all their products, and also to have a closer look to new collections.

As soon as I arrived the fashion show started, all the models were so beautiful and the outfits were really nice and colorful, spring inspired, it was a lovely surprise.

Qualche settimana fa sono stata a Milano per il QVC Italia Press Day.

Ho già partecipato ad un loro Press Day (qui trovate il post) e anche questa volta come la scorsa mi sono divertita moltissimo.

E' un'occasione ottima per dare una sbirciatina alle novità, ma anche per osservare da vicino i prodotti venduti su QVC Italia.

Appena arrivata ho assistito ad una sfilata davvero interessane, le ragazze erano stupende e gli outfit davvero belli, primaverili, colorati, insomma è stata una bella sorpresa!

Next stop my favorite one: the beauty area.
I browsed trough all the new products displayed and then I went to talk to all the beauty experts.

Poi ovviamente mi sono concentrata sull'area beauty, che rimane come sempre la mia preferita.
Ho curiosato tra i vari prodotti che erano esposti e poi ho fatto quattro chiacchiere con i vari esperti beauty.

NAILS INC

I met again the sweet Simo (@Simotadah) Nails Inc beauty expert, who kindly took me trough all the new good stuff.

Besides all the new lovely spring shades of gel effect polishes, I was very interested about two products and in particular:

- 45 seconds Top Coat with Kensinghton Caviar is a top coat that dries in 45 seconds, it's infused with caviar extract and gives a beautiful professional manicure.

- Superfood NailKale base coat a kale extracts infused base coat that make the nails stronger and healthier.

Anche questa volta ho incontrato la gentilissima Simo (@Simotadah) di Nails Inc, che mi ha mostrato, oltre ai bellissimi nuovi colori di smalti gel finish anche le ultimissime novità del brand ed in particolare:

- 45 seconds Top Coat with Kensinghton Caviar un top coat che si asciuga in 45 secondi e promette un risultato davvero professionale grazie all'estratto di caviale infuso nel prodotto.

- Superfood NailKale base coat una base davvero innovativa che grazie agli estratti di cavolo nero cura le unghie e le rende più forti e più sane.

ELEMIS

One of the most famous UK brand, skincare and bodycare SPA treatment that you can do at home.

There are products for any skin issues, for istance if you have, just like me, combination to oily skin, they suggested me to use the TRI-ENZYME line that simulates the skin renovation to purify the skin but also to get deep hydration.

They change the packaging of some of their best selling products to celebrate their 25th anniversary, you can find the new silver embossed lid in the pics below.

Uno dei brand più famosi del Regno Unito, dei veri trattamenti da SPA da fare a casa.

Ci sono linee per tutti i tipi di pelle e per tutte le problematiche, ad esempio per la mia pelle mista-grassa mi hanno consigliato la linea TRI-ENZIME che simula il rinnovamento cellulare della pelle, per una pulizia ed un'idratazione profonda.

Per celebrare il 25° anniversario Elemis ha poi ideato un coperchio speciale per alcuni dei suoi prodotti di punta, lo vedete qui sotto nelle foto, è quello tutto decorato.

BARE MINERALS

It's the most loved brand on QVC Italy, Bare Minerals chooses minerals as makeup ingredients and makes applying make up very easy for every woman to achieve the look desired.

I've seen MUA Umberto at work, you would know him if you'd watch QVC Italy, because he's so much fun!

He let me browse all the cool stuff on the table, such as shiny lipglosses perfect for spring, an amazing kit with foundation, concealer and bronzer/blush/highlighter palette that was a Today Special Value few weeks ago.

I've seen also a gorgeous eyeshadows palette and a set of three lipbalm/lipstick very soft and pigmented.

Un brand amatissimo in QVC e non solo, Bare Minerals che punta sulle polveri minerali e sulla semplicità dei gesti per permettere a tutte le donne di ottenere il look desiderato.

Ho visto all'opera il simpaticissimo MUA Umberto, che sicuramente riconoscerete se come me seguite la diretta di QVC Italia.

Mi ha lasciato curiosare tra i prodotti e ho individuato dei gloss brillanti perfetti per l'estate, un kit meraviglioso con fondotinta, correttore e palette bronzer&blush che è stato oggetto di un Today Special Value qualche settimana fa.

Ho visto anche una palette di ombretti con un mix di colore davvero interessante e dei rossetti/balsamo molto idratanti e morbidi.

ALGENIST

Algenist beauty expert was super nice and made me try a whole bunch of products and I must say I was really impressed by them!

This famous american brand from San Francisco, combines its esclusive alguronic acid extracted from Microalgae and combines it with other ingredients such as ialuronic acid to achieve the best product for your skink.

From all the products I've tried at the Press Day I fell in love with the Genius Ultimate Anti-Aging Melted Cleanser, the formula is incredible, it leaves your skin so hydtrated and smooth, it was amazing!

I tried also some eye treatments that were very refreshing and nice.

I really hope I will find these products soon in a Today Special Value, because I really loved trying them out!

Anche la beauty expert di Algenist è stata gentilissima e mi ha fatto provare tantissimi prodotti e devo ammettere che sono rimasta davvero colpita!

Questo famosissimo brand di San Francisco utilizza principi attivi esclusivi brevettati estratti dalle alghe e li combina tra vari ingredienti anche all'acido ialuronico per un risultato di pelle nuova, idratata, lenita e curata.

Tra tutti sicuramente il Genius detergente fondente antietà è stato quello che mi ha stupito di più. L'ho applicato sulla mano e dopo averlo risciacquato la mia pelle era davvero morbidissima, liscia, idratata e compatta.

Ho provato anche il trattamento occhi e l'ho trovato davvero rinfrescante.

Questi prodotti mi hanno davvero incuriosito e spero di trovarli in un prossimo Today Special Value!
