NMNL MARCH BOX UNBOXING

It's been a while since I've done my last subscription box unboxing, since korean and japanese beauty are even more popular now, I thought I would try to start again this serie on my blog and give it a go.
Yesterday I received march NMNL box (if you have no idea of what I'm talking about, you can find all the info in this blog post) and I'm really curious to see what's inside!

E' passato un po' di tempo dal mio ultimo unboxing, ma visto quanto sono popolari makeup e skincare orientali ho deciso di riproporre questa "rubrica" sul blog.

Ieri mi è arrivata la NMNL box di marzo (se non avete idea di cosa stia parlando trovate tutte le info in questo post) e sono proprio curiosa di vedere cosa c'è dentro!

• WAVY HAIR CURLER SET

These tools should make your hair wavy or curly without using a styling iron and damaging your hair with hot temperatures.

They look very interesting, I will let you know how it goes!

Con questo kit si dovrebbero ottenere ricci ed onde senza utilizzare un ferro e quindi evitando di danneggiare i capelli col alte temperature. Sembra molto promettente, vi farò sapere!

• ANIMAL FACE MASK

This cute sheep sheet mask is infused with vitamin C that has amazing antioxidant properties for a supple youthful looking skin. Can't wait to try it!

Questa adorabile maschera viso a forma di pecora è infusa di vitamina C che ha incredibili proprietà antiossidanti per una pelle più soda e dall'apparenza più giovane. Non vedo l'ora di provarla!

• CAKE HAND CREAM

This hand cream smells like a chocolate banana cake, it's so delicious!

The texture is very light and it absorbs quickly into the skin.

Questa crema profuma di torta banana e cioccolato, è deliziosa!

La crema in sé ha una consistenza leggera e si assorbe velocemente.

• HAIR BRUSH

This small japanese hair brush has minerals that are supposed to cure the hair while you brush them, I'll let you know if I see any difference using it.

Questa piccola spazzola giapponese è arricchita da minerali che dovrebbero curare i capelli mentre si spazzolano, vi farò sapere se vedrò qualche differenza usandola.

• COLOR MASCARA

This blue mascara has tiny taint brush that's perfect to reach every lash.

It's a nice pop of colour to add to a natural makeup.

Questo mascara blu ha uno scovolino minuscolo perfetto per raggiungere le ciglia una ad una.

E' l'ideale tocco di colore da aggiungere a qualsiasi trucco naturale.

• CANDY LIP TINT

This corally moussy lip tint is very pigmented and opaque, when it comes off leaves a stain that's pretty hard to remove.
The packaging looks like a big lollipop and it's so funny! 

Questa tinta labbra corallo ha una consistenza cremosa ed è molto pigmentata.
Quando lo strato superficiale viene via, sulle labbra  rimane una tinta più chiara ma veramente difficile da rimuovere.
Il packaging sembra un leccalecca ed è davvero divertente! 

• ETUDE HOUSE LOOK INTO MY EYES EYESHADOW

Etude House is a very popular korean brand, this eyeshadow is very buttery and pigmented.

From the pan it looked like a plain brown, but when I swatched it, all the gold and pink sparkles came out transforming it in a very peculiar shade.

Etude House è uno dei brand coreani più famosi, questo ombretto è super burroso e pigmentato.

Dalla cialda sembrava un marrone un po' scontato, invece swatchandolo si vedono tutti i riflessi oro e rosa che lo rendono molto più particolare.

• FACIAL CLEANSING BRUSH

This cleansing brush is unbelievably soft, it seems an interesting tool, can't wait to try it and see if it actually works!

Questa spazzola è di una morbidezza incredibile, non vedo l'ora di provarla e vedere se effettivamente pulisce meglio il viso.

Overall I enjoyed this march box, it has a good balance between skincare and makeup products.

The theme vibrant vibes was quite respected (blue mascara, coral lip tint).

La box di marzo nel complesso mi è piaciuta, trovo che ci sia un buon equilibrio tra prodotti di skincare e makeup.

Il tema della box, vibrant vibes è stato rispettato, infatti i colori proposti sono molto accesi (il mascara blu, la tinta corallo etc.).

COSMOPROF NEWS | FOREO

Let's start this new post serie with a brand that needs no introduction: Foreo.
This swedish brand is specialized in providing a new idea of beauty and wellbeing solutions, with a focus on skin care.
Foreo's devices are made with ultra hygienic silicon, which is very resistant, it dries quickly and it's also non porous so it resists to bacteria build up.
The most popular Foreo product is definitely the Luna range, this device is a deep cleansing brush
depending on the skin type.
Latest addition in the Luna family is the Luna Fofo, a device that has most of Luna's characteristics and also two sensors that analyze your skin, tell you your skin age (that could be different from your actual one) and customize a program taylored to your necessities.
An app will be also available that will keep track of your results using Luna Fofo, results that you will be able to share on your social media, a funny and interactive way to use this new device.

Cominciamo questa nuova rubrica sul blog con un brand che non ha bisogno di presentazioni: Foreo.

Questo brand svedese si è specializzato da anni in soluzioni per il benessere e la cura della persona, con particolare attenzione alla cura della pelle.

I dispositivi Foreo sono caratterizzati dal silicone medico, un materiale resistente, che si asciuga piuttosto in fretta e che non permette la proliferazione di batteri.
Sicuramente tra i prodotti più famosi di Foreo c'è la linea Luna, un dispositivo per la detersione profonda della pelle che è stato ideato in varie varianti a seconda del suo utilizzo e della tipologia di pelle.
Ultima novità in questa linea è il Luna Fofo, un dispositivo che aggiunge a tutte le caratteristiche degli altri Luna due sensori che analizzano la pelle, ne svelano l'età effettiva (che può essere differente dalla vostra età) e creano un programma studiato ad hoc proprio per la pelle analizzata.
Sarà disponibile anche una app dove monitorare tutti i progressi fatti utilizzando Fofo, con la possibilità di condividere questi risultati anche sulle varie piattaforme social, una modalità di utilizzo interattiva davvero divertente.

Foreo launched it's newest product at Cosmoprof Bologna 2018: the Foreo Ufo, which promises to revolution the way we perceive and use face masks.

Al Cosmoprof Bologna 2018 Foreo ha presentato il suo ultimo gioiello: il Foreo Ufo, che promette di rivoluzionare il nostro modo di concepire ed utilizzare le maschere per il viso.

We are used to apply face masks and wait, at least 15 to 20 minutes for them to work.
When we apply sheet masks we also usually lay down and wait, otherwise the mask might come off.
Foreo Ufo mask application lasts only 90 seconds, but this doesn't effect the mask's efficacy, on the contrary it increases and boosts it.
T-Sonic pulsations combined with hyper infusion technology allows the mask to penetrate deeply into the skin that will absorb more active ingredients.
The hyper infusion technology uses heat to enlarge pores but also cold for cryotherapy that helps to seal in the ingredients and firms the skin.
The masks now available are  Make My Day, with hyaluronic acid and red algae for deep hydration and Call It A Night, enriched with ginseng and olive oil to deeply nourish the skin.
Foreo Ufo features also led lights with different colors: red for anti aging treatment, green for brightening and blue to fight skin imperfections and impurities.
The 90 second treatment combines the mask, thermo or cryotherapy (depending on the treatment) and the led light.
It will be possible to use this new device with an app to customize the treatment  and also to find new masks that will be available.
Foreo Ufo is already available for pre order on Foreo's website for $ 279, there will be also a mini version that will have the same features except the cryotherapy and it will costs $ 179. 

Fino ad oggi siamo stati abituati a maschere che per essere efficaci hanno bisogno di tempo, dai 15 ai 20 minuti, e soprattutto se indossiamo una sheet mask dobbiamo anche stare fermi per evitare che scivoli via.
Con Foreo Ufo il trattamento richiede solo 90 secondi, ma questo non diminuisce l'efficacia della maschera, anzi ne potenzia ed intensifica il risultato.
Con le pulsazioni T-Sonic la maschera riesce a penetrare lo strato epidermico più in profondità, inoltre grazie alla tecnologia hyper infusion, che sfrutta il calore, i pori vengono ulteriormente dilatati e preparati per assorbire il trattamento.
Con Foreo Ufo si può anche scegliere la crio terapia per alcuni trattamenti specifici che migliorano il tono della pelle.
Le maschere attualmente disponibili sono la Make My Day all'acido ialuronico e alghe rosse per un'idratazione profonda e la Call It A Night ricca di ginseng ed olio di oliva per nutrire a fondo la pelle.
Oltre a tutto questo Foreo Ufo è dotato di luci led di diverse colorazioni: rossa per il trattamento antietà, verde per quello illuminante e blu per le imperfezioni e le impurità della pelle tendente all'acne o acneica.
Pertanto il trattamento comprende la maschera che viene assorbita dalla pelle grazie alle pulsazioni T-Zone, il riscaldamento o il raffreddamento a seconda della tipologia del trattamento scelto, le luci led con i loro vari benefici e tutto in soli 90 secondi.
Sarà anche possibile possibile utilizzare Foreo Ufo in combinazione con l'applicazione Foreo per personalizzare il proprio trattamento, successivamente poi verranno rese disponibili più maschere rispetto a quelle già programmate nell'app.
E' già possibile pre ordinare Foreo Ufo sul sito Foreo al prezzo di € 279, presto sarà disponibile anche la versione mini che avrà tutte le caratteristiche della versione normale, fatta eccezione per la crio terapia, al prezzo di € 179.

Foreo stand was definitively one of my favourite at Cosmoprof Bologna 2018, I met this lovely girl who introduced me to the brand and also to the new releases and it was really interesting to discover these new products that really seem revolutionary!

Sicuramente lo stand di Foreo è stato uno dei miei preferiti al Cosmoprof 2018, ho incontrato una ragazza carinissima che mi ha illustrato tutte le novità ed è stato davvero interessante scoprire questi prodotti, che sembrano davvero rivoluzionari!

SEPHORA PRESS DAY | STYLPRO

I guess the fact that the most boring thing about makeup is cleaning brushes is not a secret for anyone.

I must confess I'm not super diligent when it comes to clean my brushes, mainly because I usually don't have time to do it, so that's why this product really caught my eye at the Sephora Press Day.

stylPro was created by Tom Pellereau, The Apprentice 2011 winner, to make the cleaning process easier and quicker for everybody, mua and makeup lovers.

I had the chance to see how stylPro works and Tom was actually at the press day to show it.

It was so fascinating that I kept watching for a few times and I found it really interesting.

Immagino non sia un segreto che per molti, me inclusa, la pulizia dei pennelli sia la parte più noiosa del makeup.

Confesso di non pulire i miei pennelli così frequentemente come vorrei, spesso per mancanza di tempo, quindi quando ho visto questo prodotto tra gli stand presenti al Sephora Press Day non potevo non dare un'occhiata.

stylPro è stato ideato da Tom Pellereau, vincitore della trasmissione The Apprentice della BBC nel 2011, proprio per rendere più veloce e semplice la pulizia dei pennelli.

Ho avuto l'occasione di vedere stylPro all'opera ed è stato proprio Tom a darmi una dimostrazione pratica e devo ammettere che sono rimasta veramente colpita.

stylPro is a battery operated device that you can connect to one of the eight brush collars (depending on the brush size) included in the set.

You pour some water and some cleanser (it could be stylPro or any kind of cleanser) in the bowl and then you put the brush attached to the stylPro in the liquid mix and you press the button to make it spin.

The spinning action makes all the bristles to open so that the brush can be properly cleaned.

To rinse the brush you just keep spinning it for a few more second without touching the liquid.

Tom used a powder brush (for blush, bronzer, mineral foundation) and a foundation brush, he loaded both brushes with a ton of makeup before using the stylPro.

The whole cleaning process lasted a few minutes.

He used the same water and cleanser mix since it's reusable.

I could also touch the brushes after the cleaning process, and I really wanted to because my biggest concern was to find out if that could damage the brushes, and they both felt dry and soft.

It was a really interesting demonstration.

stylPro si compone di un impugnatura motorizzata alla quale collegare uno degli otto attacchi (in base alla larghezza del pennello) disponibili nella confezione.

All'interno dell'ampolla rotonda basta versare un po' d'acqua e del detergente, ne esiste uno specifico stylPro, ma può essere utilizzato qualsiasi detergente.

Quindi si inserisce il pennello così montano all'interno dell'ampolla in modo che venga a contatto con acqua e detergente, e si preme il pulsante per avviare il piccolo motore presente nell'impugnatura.

Le setole per la forza centrifuga si aprono permettendo così una detersione profonda.

Per asciugare il pennello basta farlo girare per qualche secondo all'interno dell'ampolla senza metterlo a contatto del mix di acqua e detergente.

Tom ha utilizzato due pennelli, uno per l'applicazione di polveri (bronzer, blush, fondotinta minerali) con setole sintetiche e un pennello a lingua di gatto in setole naturali per l'applicazione del fondotinta.

Li ha entrambi saturati di prodotti prima di procedere alla pulizia che è durata qualche minuto in tutto.

Ha utilizzato sempre lo stesso liquido, in quanto è possibile riutilizzarlo più volte.

Ho avuto anche modo di toccare le setole del pennello appena pulito, perchè onestamente volevo vedere se il pennello potesse venire danneggiato in qualche modo, ed entrambi i pennelli erano asciutti e morbidi al tatto.

E' stata una dimostrazione indubbiamente interessante!

One of the new brands launching soon on Sephora Italia is Eyeko, a british brand that I'm sure most of you know already, famous for the squeeze tubes packaging mascaras that allows you to use all the product with zero waste.
Eyeko, brand born in London in 1999, focus on creating easy to use products with amazing performances, combining ergonomic wands and super rich formulas to treat the eyelashes at every application.
All the products are made with korean technologies (korean beauty industry is very well known for mascaras) and also 100% cruelty free.

Uno dei brand in arrivo da Sephora è Eyeko, un marchio che sicuramente molti di voi conoscono già, famoso soprattutto per i mascara dal packaging a tubetto che permette di non sprecarne nemmeno un grammo di prodotto.

Eyeko, nato a Londra nel 1999, si concentra sul creare prodotti facili da usare e dalle ottime performance, combinando applicatori ergonomici e formule ricche di vitamine per trattare le ciglia ad ogni applicazione.
Si tratta di prodotti creati utilizzando la tecnologia coreana (famosa tra l'altro proprio per i mascara) e 100% cruelty free.

This mascara's wand is curved to allow you to reach every lash, even the smallest ones, to achieve the best curly lashes.

This formula is enriched with shea butter and keratin, and it has an intense black color payoff.
It's also water resistant and it doesn't smudge.

Uno scovolino ricurvo per raggiungere tutte le ciglia, anche le più piccole, per ottenere una piega perfetta, una formula ricca di burro di karité e cheratina, un colore nero intenso resistente all'acqua che non sbava e non cola.

Questi sono i punti di forza di questo mascara senza parabeni.

SPOR WATERPROOF MASCARA

This mascara's formula it's waterproof, it promises to not smudge even after hours in the gym.
Inside it has fibers for extra volume lashes.
Even this wand is shaped to achieve the best result.

Una formula waterproof che promette di non colare nemmeno dopo ore di palestra, con all'interno fibre per regalare ancora più volume.

Anche questo scovolino ha un'incurvatura particolare per un risultato davvero intenso.

LASH ALERT MASCARA

This mascara is a real treatment for damaged lashes, its formula is super rich, it contains shea butter, caffein, arginine, biptin, it nourishes, repairs and thicken the lashes, with double the fiber for extra volume effect.

Questo mascara è un vero e proprio trattamento per le ciglia danneggiate, la sua formula ricca di burro di karité, caffeina, arginina e biotina, riesce a nutrire, rinvigorire e ispessire le ciglia, con un concentrato di fibre per un effetto ciglia finte.
