CLINIQUE | CRAYOLA COLLECTION

Clinique started a very popular trend with the chubby sticks, that easily spread all over makeup brands.

It's an hybrid between a lip balm, a gloss and a lipstick, it's super easy to apply and to carry around with you, it's the perfect product for those who love a pop of colour without the commitment of a lipstick.

Clinique renovates one of its best seller with this cute collaboration with Crayola, famous for its crayons (and other stationery goods) which every kid started drawing with.

This limited edition box has 8 chubby sticks with the Crayola packaging, there are nudes, pinks and reds, all the shades are very wearable.

It's also available a smaller limited edition box with 4 chubby sticks.

I went for the smaller one (you can see the swatches below) but I also managed to take some pictures of the bigger box, thanks to a friend who kindly lent it to me.

I famosi chubby sticks di Clinique hanno dato vita ad un trend che abbiamo visto ripetersi tra tantissimi brand di makeup.

Questi matitoni labbra sono una via di mezzo tra un balsamo, un gloss ed un rossetto, facili da applicare e da portare con sè, perfetti per chi non vuole rinunciare ad un tocco di colore, ma non cerca quell'effetto deciso del rossetto. 

Clinique rinnova uno dei suoi best seller con una collaborazione davvero carina con Crayola, l'azienda che produce i pastelli a cera (ma non solo) che più o meno tutti abbiamo usato da bambini per i nostri primi disegni.

La collezione in edizione limitata prevede 8 chubby stick contenuti in una scatola il cui packaging ricorda proprio quello dei pastelli a cera, sono 8 tonalità che spaziano dai nudes, ai rosa, ai rossi, con nuances chiare e scure, tutte portabilissime.

E' anche disponibile una versione mini, sempre in edizione limitata, che contiene solo quattro colori.

Entrambe le confezioni si trovano in vendita in esclusiva alla Rinascente, io ho acquistato la versione mini di cui potete vedere anche gli swatches qui sotto, ma sono riuscita a scattare qualche foto anche della collezione completa grazie ad una mia amica che me l'ha gentilmente prestata!

MAC | FRUITY JUICY COLLECTION

Latest MAC collection, Fruity Juicy, really puts me in the right mood for summer, with a fun colorful packaging and a lot of vibrant shades.
This collection has quite a selection of products and if you are still wondering if there is anything for you, you came in the right place to see all the swatches and be inspired!
Let's proceed in order:

L'ultima collezione di MAC mi fa proprio venire voglia di estate, con un packaging super colorato decorato da una quantità di frutti esotici e caratterizzata da colori accesi e vibranti. 

E' una collezione piuttosto ricca, ma io con pazienza sono andata a fare quanti più swatches potessi, così se non sapete ancora cosa fa per voi potete farvi ispirare da questo post!

Andiamo con ordine:

• PREP + PRIME FIX +

Beside the beautiful packaging this MAC best sellers limited edition has a lovely coconut scent, warning it may cause addiction (joking)!

Oltre ad avere un packaging davvero estivo, questo spray must have che serve per fissare e allo stesso tempo rinfrescare il trucco,  è profumato al cocco, attenzione può creare dipendenza (scherzo)!

• PEARLMATTE FACE POWDER

This is supposed to be an all over illuminating powder, on my fair skin tone I would use it more as a luminous blush, but I can see it works as an highlighter on deeper skin tones.
The pattern is just beautiful, I would say this is a must have from this collection.

Una polvere da utilizzare come blush luminoso per chi ha un incarnato chiaro e come illuminante per le pelli più scure, miscelando tutti i colori che sono all'interno di questa giungla floreale, sicuramente uno dei prodotti rappresentativi di questa collezione.

• FRUITY JUCY LIPSTICKS

- Calm Heat (matte)

- Shy Girl (creamsheen)

- Love at First Bite (amplified)

- Sì, Sì, Me! (satin)

As you can tell by the swatches, all the lipsticks are pretty pigmented, there are two nude shades and two more intense and vibrant colors.

My favorite are defnitively the two bright ones, Love at First Bite and Sì, Sì, Me!

Come potete vedere dagli swatches sono rossetti molto pigmentati, con vari finish, due tonalità più nude e due più intesse e brillanti.

I miei preferiti sono sicuramente Love at First Bite e Sì, Sì, Me!, due colori vibranti che gridano estate.

• FRUITY JUICY LIPGLASSES

- Cha-Cha-Cha

- Shake, Shake, Shake!

- La Salsa

- Summer Succulence

My favorite glosses are Shake, Shake, Shake! and La Salsa, simply because they are more intense and pigmented.
If you are more a sheer gloss enthusiast, the other two shades will work perfectly for you.

Tra questi gloss i miei preferiti sono Shake, Shake,Shake! e La Salsa, sicuramente i due più pigmentati, dai colori più intensi.

Se preferite invece un effetto più trasparente gli altri due sono perfetti.

• EYESHADOW X 6 PALETTE

This collection has three eyeshadow palettes and each one has six eyeshadows:

Questa collezione comprende tre palette di ombretti ed in particolare:

- Fruit A La La (Glamour Light, Soleil So Lovely, Arriba!, Carnal Charm, Fuchsia Fury, Cocktail Black)

A warm toned palette, with bright orange, fuchsia and brown, each shade is really pigmented.

Una palette dai toni caldi dell'arancio, del fucsia e del marrone, ombretti tutti molto pigmentati.

- Love In The Glades (Greystroke, Cumulus, Bye Bye Bahamas, Palm leaves, Neoprene Green, Russian Blue)

This palette is all about grey and green, definitvely the right palette if you like to step out from your confort zone, each shade is really pigmented.

In questa palette prevalgono i toni del verde e del grigio, è sicuramente la palette più particolare dal punto di vista cromatico, anche qui tutti gli ombretti sono molto pigmentati.

- Oh My Banana (Retrospeck, Big Kahuna, Soft Brown, Elecrtic Mandarin, All's Rosy, Land of Delights)

Sadly I couldn't swatch this last palette, but to me it looks quite similar to the first one, even though it has more yellow, orange and pink.

Purtroppo non sono riuscita a swatchare questa palette, ma mi sembra piuttosto simile alla prima, anche se in questa prevalgono il giallo, l'arancio ed il rosa.

• STUDIO SCULPT BRONZING POWDER / BRONZING POWDER

The first two, Delicates and Delphi, are pressed powders for contouring, to sculpt and enhance your features.

Honestly I'm not crazy about them, they swatched quite patchy on my arm.

I like the simple bronzing powders much more, Refined Golden and Baiana Bronze, they have a really smooth texture and they blend like a dream.

Le prime sono polveri compatte dal finish satinato nelle due colorazioni Delicates e Delphi,  pensate per il contouring, ossia per creare quelle ombre che permettono di accentuare o comunque modificare le caratteristiche del visto.

Devo ammettere che non mi fanno impazzire, perchè come vedete dagli swatches non risultano omogenee.

Preferisco di gran lunga le semplici bronzing powders che in questa collezione troviamo nelle tonalità Refined Golden e Baiana Bronze che hanno una texture molto morbida e soprattutto si applicano e si sfumano facilmente.

• LUSTRE DROPS

These illuminating drops can be used by them selves to highlight the usual face areas, or you can mix them with your usual skin care or foundation for a glowy skin.

There are two shades in this collection (Bronze Hero and Sun Rush) sadly are too dark for my skin kind, but they would for a deeper skin tone.

I feel like these liquid products, though, work better for those with no particular skin issues.

Queste gocce illuminanti possono essere utilizzate da sole per creare punti luce oppure mischiate alla crema idratante o al fondotinta per regalare lucentezza a tutto l'incarnato.

Le due tonalità (Bronze Hero e Sun Rush) risultano troppo scure per il mio incarnato, ma comunque trovo che siano adatte soprattutto a chi abbia una pelle priva di particolari imperfezioni e problematiche.

Concludono la collezione due pennelli viso, il n. 125 ed il n. 126, che hanno da un lato setole naturali e dall'altro setole sintetiche ed una makeup bag coloratissima che riprende il packaging di tutta la collezione.

Queste due maschere labbra promettono un vero pieno di idratazione per le nostre labbra, grazie alla vitamina E, al collagene ed all'acido ialuronico di cui sono ricche.

Vanno applicate dopo aver deterso le labbra dal trucco e da ogni possibile residuo e vanno tenute in posa a scelta da 5 a 30 minuti per labbra da baciare.

Questo set di shampoo e balsamo in formato travel size è privo di solfati e siliconi e promette di idratare la cute e rigenerare i capelli danneggiati e sfibrati.

Sono davvero molto curiosa di provarli!

• GENSEN LABO HYDRATING SEA KELP TONER

This toner is alcool and scent free, perfect even for sensitive skin.

It's enriched with gagome kelp from Hokkaido and it's meant to gently nourish the skin.

You can apply it with a cotton disk after you removed all the makeup and cleaned your face with warm water.

Questo tonico è privo di alcool e di profumo, quindi è molto delicato sulla pelle e perfetto per chi ha la pelle sensibile.

Contiene l'alga gagome proveniente da Hokkaido e promette di idratare a fondo la pelle, va utilizzato dopo aver deterso il viso, tamponandolo con un dischetto di cotone.

• SAKURA HARENOHI HAND CARE gift pack

This mini hand care set, with hand cream and soap both cherry blossom scented, it's perfect to carry with you and travel with.

It's in a gift package, but I honestly want to keep it for my self because it's just too kawaii!

Questo mini set di crema mani e sapone profumato ai fiori di ciliegio è perfetto da tenere in borsa, è in confezione regalo, ma onestamente penso proprio che lo userò io, è troppo kawaii!

• SAKURA HAND TOWEL and CLEANING CLOTH 

It's pretty common in Japan carrying with you a little towel to use in public restrooms or in the hotter climate and this set all decorated with cherry blossom it's just adorable.

In Giappone è piuttosto comune portare sempre con se dei piccoli asciugamani, sia per asciugarsi le mani che per detergere il sudore nei mesi più caldi.
Questo set tutto decorato dai fiori di ciliegio è davvero delizioso.

March box was a Sakura explosion, perfect for cherry blossom season.
All the products were really promising and interesting, so I can't wait to test them all!

La box di marzo ispirata ai Sakura, ossia ai meravigliosi fiori di ciliegio che sbocciano tra marzo e aprile, era davvero ricca di prodotti promettenti ed interessanti, non vedo l'ora di testarli tutti!
