MATCH STIX TRIO
Let's start with the Match Stix (€ 24 each), this creamy sticks with an exagonal magnetic packaging (you can actually stack them all together) are made for contouring, concealing and highlight the face.
I got LIGHT 100 trio which includes:
- Linen, a matte concealer/highlighter that i use to cover my dark circles but also to highlight some area of my face where I don't want to have shimmers (for instance my forehead);
- Amber, a cool toned matte dark brown which is perfect for contouring;
- Starstruck, a pink shimmery highlighter with a frosty effect that I use on my cheeckbones, on my browbones and on my cupid's bow.
Theay are all pigmented and creamy, but not too much, so they need to be blended really well, expecially the contouring shade.
I blend them better with a brush than with a beauty blender.
Partiamo dai Match Stix (€ 24 ognuno), questi stick cremosi dal packaging esagonale e magnetico (si li potete attaccare tra loro quasi a formare un piccolo alveare) sono perfetti per il contouring del viso.
In questo caso io ho acquistato il trio LIGHT 100 che composto da:
- Linen, un correttore/illuminante opaco che utilizzo anche per coprire le occhiaie ed in generale per illuminare zone del mio viso senza però avere un effetto shimmer;
- Amber, una tonalità scura opaca dal sottotono freddo, perfetto per creare le ombre del viso e scolpirlo;
- Starstruck, un illuminante shimmer rosato da utilizzare per creare punti luce ad esempio sugli zigomi alti, sull'arco di cupido e sull'arcata sopraccigliare.
Questi stick sono tutti pigmentati e cremosi, ma non eccessivamente, quindi vanno lavorati bene.
Soprattutto con quello dedicato al contouring vi consiglio di andarci leggeri, a maggior ragione se, come me, avete un incarnato molto chiaro, e di sfumare abbondantemente il prodotto, io mi trovo meglio con i pennelli che con la beauty blender.
KILLAWATT FREESTYLE HIGHLIGHTER in TROPHY WIFE (€ 33)
This was one of the most anticipated product, a pigmented metal gold highlighter.
Obviously it's not an highlighter for my fair skin tone, but I use it as an eyeshadow and it's gorgeous.
It looks amazing as an highlighter on deeper skin tones.
The packaging is really nice with its geometrical simplicity, inside there is also a practical mirror.
Questo è stato sicuramente uno dei prodotti più chiacchierati, un illuminante oro super pigmentato e metallico.
Ovviamente per il mio incarnato è troppo scuro, ma è fantastico anche come ombretto e sugli incarnati più scuri è davvero bellissimo illuminante.
Il packaging è molto bello nella sua semplicità geometrica, all'interno c'è anche un comodo specchietto.
KILLAWATT FREESTYLE HIGHLIGHTER DUO (€ 33)
This highlighters duo it's perfect for my skin tone, Lighting Dust is very soft and Fire Crystal it's more intense.
Even though they don't look much in the swatches, I assure you that they both look beautiful when applied.
I like that I can have a soft highlighter for a natural look and a beaming one for a more vibrant makeup.
Questo duo di illuminanti è perfetto per il mio incarnato, il primo Lighting Dust è molto delicato, mentre il secondo Fire Crystal è molto più intenso.
Anche se dagli swatches non sembrano niente di eccezionale, vi assicuro che applicati fanno il loro effetto.
Mi piace l'idea che con questo duo si possa scegliere che tipo di look ottenere, infatti spesso uso quello più soft per un trucco più naturale, mentre quello più intenso quando voglio che l'illuminante si noti.
GLOSS BOMB UNIVERSAL LIP LUMINIZER (€ 17)
This rosy nude gloss should adapt to every skin tone.
It has a creamy texture, but it's not tacky, it has a lovely sweet and fruity scent of vanilla and peach.
With one swipe the lips look glossy and plumper already.
Questo gloss nude rosato promette di adattarsi a qualsiasi incarnato.
La consistenza è cremosa, ma non appiccicosa, ha un delizioso profumo dolce e fruttato di vaniglia e pesca.
Con una sola passata le labbra risultano lucide e più piene.
INVISIMATTE BLOTTING POWDER
This very finely mild powder is perfet to mattify the skin.
It looks super white in the pan, but once you apply it it's completely transparent and it doesn't leave any white cast.
The small spongy applicator and the mirror makes it super easy to set on the go.
Questa cipria impalpabile serve ad opacizzare il viso.
Anche se nella cialda sembra bianca, una volta applicata è completamente traslucida, quindi adatta a qualsiasi incarnato.
La spugnetta e lo specchio la rendono particolarmente comoda per i ritocchi.
PORTABLE CONTOURING AND CONCELEAR BRUSH
This is probably the product that I used less and I don't feel to recommend to you at 100%.
It's a travel size contouring and concealing brush, it has nice soft and dense bristles, but i don't find it that practical.
I will give it an other shot, but for now it's not a must have in my opinion.
Questo è forse il prodotto che ho usato di meno e che non mi sento di consigliarvi al 100%.
E' un pennello in taglia mini da utilizzare per sfumare il contouring o il correttore.
E' un pennello dalle setole dense e morbide, ma il packaging non mi convince del tutto.
Dovrò sicuramente dargli un'altra occasione, ma per il momento non lo metto nella lista dei miei must have.
SEPHORA ITALIA PRESS DAY
At the Sephora Italia Press Day I had the chance to see a preview of the whole collection, and in particular of the super popular Pro Filt'r Soft Matte Longwear Foundation (€ 33) that has 40 different shades that make Fenty Beauty a really inclusive brand, and also the reason why it is so globally popular.
Al Sephora Press Day ho avuto modo di vedere tutti i prodotti in anteprima, in particolare l'ormai famosissimo Pro Filt'r Soft Matte Longwear Foundation (€ 33) che ha ben 40 shades differenti che fanno di Fenty Beauty un brand effettivamente inclusivo e proprio per questo ha incontrato subito un successo veramente straordinario.
I was really curious to see also the Mattemoiselle Plush Matte Lipsticks (€ 17), there are some really peculiar shades, such as blue, green and lilac.
You can see all the swatches below,a few of them are already in my wishlist, I really hope I can get them tonight!
Anche questi rossetti mi incuriosivano moltissimo, i Mattemoiselle Plush Matte Lipsticks (€ 17), ci sono dei colori veramente particolari come verde, blu e lilla.
Sono riuscita a swatcharli tutti e mi sembrano davvero pigmentati e cremosi, già entrati da tempo nella mia wish list, vedremo se stasera riuscirò ad accaparrarmene qualcuno!
The only matte liquid lisptick is the Stunna Lip Paint (€ 22,90), a universal red that seems to be gorgeous.
as you can tell from the swatch, it's super pigmented and opaque, I'm really curious to see how it performs on the lips.
Unico rossetto liquido opaco presente nella collezione è lo Stunna Lip Paint (€ 22,90), un rosso che promette di essere universale.
Come si vede dallo swatch è veramente molto coprente ed intenso, sono davvero curiosa di provarlo sulle labbra.
This sums up my personal experiens with Fenty Beauty, I'm looking forward to the italian launch tonight and I will try to get some more piece to test it out.
Overall my favourite bits are the highlighters duo and the blotting powder, I will try to get my hands on the lipsticks and the liquid lipsticks as well!

Questo post riassume la mia esperienza con Fenty Beauty, sono davvero elettrizzata per il lancio della collezione su Sephora Italia, e cerchero di acquistare qualche altro prodotto per provarlo.
I miei prodotti rpeferiti in assoluto fino ad ora sono il duo di illuminanti e la blotting powder, cercherò di accaparrarmi anche i rossetti opachi e quello liquido!
