CLINIQUE | CRAYOLA COLLECTION

Clinique started a very popular trend with the chubby sticks, that easily spread all over makeup brands.

It's an hybrid between a lip balm, a gloss and a lipstick, it's super easy to apply and to carry around with you, it's the perfect product for those who love a pop of colour without the commitment of a lipstick.

Clinique renovates one of its best seller with this cute collaboration with Crayola, famous for its crayons (and other stationery goods) which every kid started drawing with.

This limited edition box has 8 chubby sticks with the Crayola packaging, there are nudes, pinks and reds, all the shades are very wearable.

It's also available a smaller limited edition box with 4 chubby sticks.

I went for the smaller one (you can see the swatches below) but I also managed to take some pictures of the bigger box, thanks to a friend who kindly lent it to me.

I famosi chubby sticks di Clinique hanno dato vita ad un trend che abbiamo visto ripetersi tra tantissimi brand di makeup.

Questi matitoni labbra sono una via di mezzo tra un balsamo, un gloss ed un rossetto, facili da applicare e da portare con sè, perfetti per chi non vuole rinunciare ad un tocco di colore, ma non cerca quell'effetto deciso del rossetto. 

Clinique rinnova uno dei suoi best seller con una collaborazione davvero carina con Crayola, l'azienda che produce i pastelli a cera (ma non solo) che più o meno tutti abbiamo usato da bambini per i nostri primi disegni.

La collezione in edizione limitata prevede 8 chubby stick contenuti in una scatola il cui packaging ricorda proprio quello dei pastelli a cera, sono 8 tonalità che spaziano dai nudes, ai rosa, ai rossi, con nuances chiare e scure, tutte portabilissime.

E' anche disponibile una versione mini, sempre in edizione limitata, che contiene solo quattro colori.

Entrambe le confezioni si trovano in vendita in esclusiva alla Rinascente, io ho acquistato la versione mini di cui potete vedere anche gli swatches qui sotto, ma sono riuscita a scattare qualche foto anche della collezione completa grazie ad una mia amica che me l'ha gentilmente prestata!

Now let's get to the beauty bits I purchased:

Con l'occasione vi faccio vedere anche le cosine che ho acquistato per poterla avere, perchè c'è sempre un budget di spesa che si deve raggiungere per potere avere la box in omaggio.

Let's start with lip balms, one of my (many) makeup obsession.
Tony Moly just launched at Sephora Italia (I got some products from Cult Beauty you can find my reviews here) and most of the products are sold out already.
I found some cute balms available and I got them.
The packaging is so cute, one is cherry shaped (Cherry € 7,50), it has a slightly tint and smells like fruit.
The other two are sheer and shaped like lips (BBO Lip Balm in Honey and Blueberries € 8,50), all of them are very nice on the lips, moisturizing and hydrating, definitively a must have product!

Partiamo dai balsami labbra, una delle mie (numerose a questo punto) passioni. 

Tony Moly è arrivato finalmente anche su Sephora Italia (se volete vedere la review e gli swatches di alcuni prodotti la trovate qui) e visto che è praticamente tutto esaurito ho scelto alcuni lip balm deliziosi che erano ancora disponibili.

Inutile negarlo il packaging è superlativo, il primo è lievemente colorato e a forma di ciliegia (Cherry € 7,50), gli altri due sono a forma di bocca (BBO Lip Balm Honey e Blueberry € 8,50).
Ogni balsamo ha un profumo ed un sapore differenti, sono molto emollienti ed idratanti e mi piacciono moltissimo!

I got a mini size of NARS most popular products (€ 20), Orgasm blush and Laguna bronzer.
It's very teeny tiny so you will need a small brush to be able to pic up the powders, but they are both very nice and pigmented, very summery colors, perfect to carry in your purse or to travel with.

Ho acquistato anche una mini taglia di blush/contour duo della NARS (€ 20) con all'interno due dei loro assoluti best seller Orgasm e Laguna.

Le cialde sono davvero piccoline, quindi è necessario prelevare il prodotto con un pennello più piccolo di quello che si userebbe normalmente, comunque i colori sono stupendi, pigmentati e perfetti da portare in vacanza o in borsa per un ritocco veloce.

Last two products, two Laqued Lip Colour by Clinique.
I really like Clinique Lip Pop, love the formula and the color range (you can find my reviews here and here), so when I found out about this liquid lipstick I really wanted to try them.
I went for a pinky nude (n. 5 Wink Pop) and a bright fuchsia (n. 6 Sweetie Pop), both very bright and beautiful colors.
Actually I had some troubles to apply them, I was trying to put a second layer to intensify the result and the applicator moved the first layer of product.
The result was a little bit patchy and the lipsticks are very sticky and "heavy".
I'm going to give them a second chance since I really love the shades, but for now I'm not very pleased with them.

Ultimi due prodotti i rossetti liquidi di Clinique, i Lacqued Lip Colour (€ 20,90).
Non è un segreto che i Lip Pop mi siano piaciuti moltissimo (trovate le review qui e qui), quindi quando ho visto la loro versione liquida mi sono molto incuriosita.
Ho scelto un rosa tenue (n. 5 Wink Pop) ed un fucsia brillante (n. 6 Sweetie Pop), due colori molto belli ed intensi, super lucidi.
Onestamente li trovo un po' troppo "pesanti" e appiccicosi, mi sono accorta che ripassando con l'applicatore viene via il prodotto, e risulta poco uniforme sulle labbra.
Proverò a dargli un'altra occasione, ma per il momento questi rossetti liquidi rimangono nella categoria dei forse.

Using Sephora Italia 20% discount code I decided to pick up some more Clinique Lip Pop, latest lipsticks that got every beauty addict obsessed.

This time I went for more bold and vibrant colours, even though I couldn't help buying a nude one as well!

The colours I chose are, from left to right:

Complice lo sconto del 20% presso tutti gli store Sephora italiani (che ahimè è appena terminato), ho deciso di ampliare la mia collezione di Lip Pop, i nuovissimi rossetti di Clinique che hanno fatto impazzire le beauty addicted di tutto il mondo.

Questa volta ho optato per colori più accessi, anche se un nude non poteva mancare!

As I said in my other review (that you can find here), these lipsticks are super cute, pigmented, opaque, creamy and easy to blend.

The packaging is sleek and neat, I absolutely love it!

The only draw back is that they don't last for ages, since they are so creamy you can't expect them to last forever, but they feel very nice on the lips and you can easily reapply them when you feel like.

Come ho già detto nella precedente review (che potete trovare qui), questi rossetti sono molto carini, hanno una buona coprenza, sono cremosi e facili da applicare.

Il packaging mi piace moltissimo, così semplice ed elegante.

Ovviamente data la loro consistenza cremosa non hanno una durata incredibile, ma sulle labbra sono davvero piacevolissimi e si riapplicano con facilità.

I also wanted to give shout out to one of the girls that works at Sephora Casalecchio.

In Italy we have Sephora Gold card ( which should be like the VIB rouge card) and with that they give you same deluxe sample when you spend a certain amount of money.

Usually the samples are gone every time I try to redeem them with my coupon, and this girl was so nice to try to replace them with other nice ones, I really appreciated it!

Volevo poi ringraziare una delle ragazze che lavorano da Sephora Casalecchio, che è stata davvero gentilissima e mi ha lasciato questi campioncini.

In pratica con Sephora Gold ogni tanto arrivano dei coupon per avere dei deluxe samples con l'acquisto di determinati prodotti, ma finiscono regolarmente in pochissimi giorni, come in questo caso.

Sono stati davvero carini e hanno fatto il possibile per sostituire il kit che mancava ed ho apprezzato il gesto!

CLINIQUE LIP POP

The whole Lip Pop situation arrived in Italy as well, I'm talking about the new Clinique Lip Pop Lipsticks that everyone is crazy for.

I used a 20% off coupon and I got tree shades from Sephora's website, I found quite hard to pick the right colors, but after watching a ton of swatches video I'm happy with the ones I got.
The first thing that sold me was the packaging, which is super cute, simple but stylish at the same time.
Half of it is the exact lipstick color, and the cap is silver, I've heard some girl using it like a mirror when they apply the lipstick, not sure about it.
They are so sleek and lovely I would like to collect them and show them all together on a shelf or something!
These are the shades I picked up:

Anche io mi sono fatta contagiare dalla febbre Lip Pop, sto parlando dei nuovissimi rossetti di Clinique che negli ultimi tempi stanno davvero spopolando.

Ho approfittato del 20% da Sephora e ho acquistato sul loro sito web tre tonalità, non è stato facile sceglierle dal sito, anche se ho guardato non so quanti video swatches, comunque sono molto contenta dei colori che ho scelto.

La prima cosa che mi ha colpito è il packaging, davvero carinissimo, semplice, ma stiloso. 

Metà della confezione riporta l'esatto colore del rossetto, mentre il tappo è in metallo e secondo qualcuna può essere usato anche come specchio.

Sono carinissimi e viene davvero la voglia di collezionarli per esporli da qualche parte tutti insieme!

Passiamo ai tre colori che ho acquistato:

N. 02 BARE POP (Sephora USA/Sephora ITA)

N. 13 LOVE POP (Sephora USA/Sephora ITA)

N. 14 PLUM POP (Sephora USA/Sephora ITA)

I went for more neutral and portable colors, mainly because I tend to buy reds and fuchias (I have loads of this colors lipsticks).
They may look similar, but they are actually quite different colors.
Bare Pop it's a nude with pink undertone and a light golden shimmer.
Love Pop it's a burgundy pink with the same light golden shimmer.
Plum Pop that actually looks very similar to Love Pop, it's a pink with a hint of violet in it with no shimmer.
All the lipsticks have primer inside that should make the color stay put several hours. Honestly on me they last quite a lot, but not 8 hours.
They have a very creamy texture, they are super easy to apply, very pigmented and opaque, and maybe because of all that, they don't last like matte dryer lipsticks. 
Just like all the other Clinique products these lipsticks have no scent, I do love sweet vanilla smell, but I guess I prefer no scent over a bad strong one.
My verdict? I want to buy more!

Ho scelto delle tonalità molto portabili, soprattutto perchè tendo ad acquistare sempre gli stessi colori, rosso e fuchsia.

Anche se sembrano molto simili dalle foto sono in realtà tre colori diversi.

Bare Pop è un nude dal sottotono rosa con dei minuscoli glitter dorati che non si percepiscono sulle labbra, e sono piuttosto discreti. 

Love Pop è un rosa tendente al rosso, anche questo ha gli stessi impercettibili glitter dorati che regalano quella luce in più una volta applicato il rossetto.
Plum Pop può sembrare molto simile a Love Pop, ma in realtà è un rosa che tende al viola e non ha nessun tipo di glitter.
Tutti i rossetti hanno al loro interno il primer che promette una durata di otto ore, ne ho indossato uno la scorsa sera e onestamente la durata non è male, ma non posso dire che sia di otto ore.
La texture è molto cremosa, si stendono con molta facilità, sono pigmentati e coprenti e forse anche per questo non hanno quella durata tipica dei rossetti più secchi e matte.
Come tutti i prodotti Clinique non hanno alcun profumo,  anche se io preferisco i rossetti profumati, soprattutto se vanigliosi, dolciosi, ma meglio nessun profumo che uno terribile.
Il mio verdetto? Ne voglio altri!

New order from Sephora: skincare and Sephora Box

I placed one of my last Sephora's order ages ago (at least one month ago) and everything I ordered was focused on prepping my skin to get in the sun.
I've already tried one of the product, but the other three are new for me, even though I know and trust this brands.
All the products are aimed for combination to oily skin (which off course is my skin kind), all I wanted was clean, purify and scrub my skin to be prepared for summer.

Il mio ultimo ordine fatto sul sito di Sephora, risale ormai ad un mese fa ed è tutto incentrato sul preparare la pelle al sole e a purificarla. Ho già avuto modo di provare uno di questi prodotti, gli altri sono nuovi per me, ma comunque non ho osato più di tanto, ho scelto marchi super conosciuti, con cui di solito mi trovo bene.
Sono tutti prodotti per pelli miste/grasse perfetti per detergere, purificare ed esfoliare.

• Clarins Doux Nettoyant Moussant / Sephora Italia (125 ml 21,50 euro)

• Clarins Masque Purifiant Eclat / Sephora Italia (50 ml 25,50 euro) 

• Clinique Exfoliating Scrub / Sephora Italia (100 ml 27,50 euro)

• Sephora Targeted Eye Remover Swabs / Sephora Italia (20x 5,90 euro)

I like all the products I've been trying so far.

I'm using the Clarins' cleanser even now on vacation, because it's gentle and it doesn't effect my tanning.

Remember to scrub body and face even during your seaside vacation, otherwise all the dead skin will make your bronzy color become greysh and disgusting!

The Clinique's scrub it's pretty intense, but not aggressive at all, I used it before leaving for Sicily to prep my skin for the hot sun. I will be definitively reusing it next autumn/winter season.

Even the Clarins' mask is very nice, it's purifying without drying the skin and it has a reasonable price which is always a plus.

I still haven't tried the Sephora's eye makeup remover swabs, which are perfect to delete every eyeliner mistake, but it's just because when it's hot I don't feel like putting on loads of makeup, I will try them for sure when the weather will be more chilly and I will be in the mood for makeup again.

As soon as I try them I will let you know what I think about them.

Mi sto trovando bene con tutti i prodotti che ho acquistato, il detergente di Clarins lo continuo ad usare anche adesso che sono in vacanza, è molto delicato e non porta via l'abbronzatura. 

Comunque è sempre importante farsi degli scrub, sia al viso che al corpo, anche durante l'estate, altrimenti l'abbronzatura assumerà quel colore grigiastro dato dall'accumulo di cellule epiteliali morte che fa davvero un brutto effetto.

Lo scrub di Clinique è piuttosto intenso, ma non aggressivo, quindi l'ho utilizzato prima di partire per le vacanze, e sicuramente lo riutilizzerò quest'inverno senza esagerare.

Anche la maschera di Clarins mi è piaciuta, purifica senza seccare la pelle, ha un ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo.

Ancora non ho avuto modo di provare i cottonfioc di Sephora, quelli con all'interno lo struccante per rimediare ai classici errori da sbavatura da eyeliner etc, appena arriva il caldo io mi trucco decisamente meno e visto che sono partita prima che al nord si abbattesse la bufera, sono al caldo già da un bel po'! 

Appena li proverò vi saprò dire come mi trovo.

I'm so glad I purchased this box because it's simply amazing, it's full of deluxe size samples and I'm in love with them!
