La Box de Louise

Since there is no more Glossy Box Italy I'm trying to find an other, hopefully better, beauty box, because it's so nice to receive a surprise package to open every month.

I found out this Facebook page called La box De Louise, a mysterious box in where you can find a lot of products, from make up to accessories.

This box was created by Louise, who describe her self as a "parisienne globtrotter in love with Italy", she puts all the boxes together, selecting the things she wants you to receive directly at your house.

How does it work? You don't have to fill a profile, because the box are the same for everyone.

It should contain approximately five products and each box costs 20 euros.

There are many subscription options, but there is no automatic renew, so you actually pay exactly for what you buy, without drama.

Shipping is made by TNT, which is really reliable, at least in my opinion.

The packaging is so cute, it comes with this withe nice withe box that opens like a little drawer.

(This box is available only in Italy and most of the products have italian names).

I decided to buy the first may box to try it out, and that's what I found:

Da quando Glossy Box non è più disponibile in Italia sono alla ricerca di una box sostitutiva, e spero anche migliore, perchè è davvero bello riceve ogni mese una scatola a sorpresa da scartare.

Per caso su Facebook mi sono imbattuta nella pagina della Box De Louise, una scatola misteriosa in cui si può trovare un po' di tutto, dal make up agli accessori.

La box è stata ideata da Louise, che si auto definisce "una globtrotter parigina amante dell'Italia", lei la compone, selezionando vari prodotti, e la spedisce direttamente a casa.

Come funziona? Non è prevista la compilazione di un profilo personale, le box sono uguali per tutte. 

La box contiene approssimativamente cinque prodotti e costa 20 euro. Si può scegliere il proprio abbonamento, ma non è previsto alcun tipo di rinnovo automatico, pertanto si paga effettivamente quello che si acquista senza sorprese.

La spedizione viene effettuata con il corriere TNT che è particolarmente affidabile (per esperienza personale).

Il packaging è molto curato, la scatola bianca con il logo, si apre come un cassettino ed è molto carina.

Ho deciso di acquistare una singola box per provarla e questo è quello che ho ricevuto:

My first impression was quite positive, the whole service is very clear, the box came on time, I had all the info I asked before buying this box.

Maybe though my expectation where really high, mainly because it was the very first box and also because it doesn't come cheap.

I'd say it's kind a slow start, but I'm actually curious to see what this box has to offer in the future, so I'm thinking about buying the next one and then as always I'll let you know!

La mia prima impressione è stata abbastanza positiva, il servizio è chiaro e puntuale, ho ricevuto risposte tempestive alle domande che ho fatto prima di decidere di acquistare la box.

Probabilmente però le mie aspettative erano più alte, soprattutto visto che si trattava della primissima box e che comunque il prezzo non è basso.

Diciamo che a mio parere è partita un po' in sordina, ma sono curiosa di vedere come si evolve questo progetto, quindi sto pensando di acquistare anche quella del mese di giungo e come sempre vi farò sapere!
