MULAC | IN MY BIRTHDAY SUIT ENTIRE COLLECTION

Last july Mulac (italian brand that I've already reviewed on my blog, you can find previous posts here 1, 2, 3).
came out with a new collection inspired by their popular liquid lipstick called "In My Birthday Suit", a gorgeous nude.
Also the PR Box was available for purchase, so maybe because I'm a makeup collector or maybe because I wanted to feel like a blogger who actually receive PR, I got the whole bundle.
It came in a light pink box, on the top part there is the eyeshadow palette and then opening up a little drawer, it reveals 4 velvet ink and one pair of false eyelashes.
The packaging is really cute, with the combination of light pink and rose gold details.
Let's have a closer look to the whole collection.

Lo scorso luglio Mulac (brand italiano di cui vi ho già parlato varie volte, trovate i precedenti post qui 1, 2, 3) è uscita con una collezione ispirata al rossetto liquido In my birthday suit, un bellissimo nude che è diventato subito molto amato.

Mulac ha reso disponibile anche l'acquisto della PR Box, ossia della collezione come veniva inviata ai vari bloggers/influencers e quindi io da brava collezionista assatanata, o forse perchè mi volevo sentire parte del giro "che conta", ho pensato bene di acquistare tutto il bundle.

Si tratta di un cofanetto rosa chiaro, nella parte superiore si vede subito la palette, mentre il cassettino sottostante rivela quattro Velvet Ink e un paio di ciglia finte.

Ma andiamo a vedere nel dettaglio tutta la collezione.

IN MY BIRTHDAY SUIT EYESHADOW PALETTE (€ 39,90)

This palette is quite different from the previous ones.

It's the biggest Mulac palette to date with 15 eyeshadows pan, with different textures: Matte Ink, Metal Glow and the new one Stardust Injection.

All the colors represent Mulac's idea of "nude", we have a variation of beige, pink and browns, with a combination of warm and cool undertones.

The central row in the palette has the new textured eyeshadows, they look like a regular pressed glitter, but they are actually vivid metals that also seems wet when applied.

I really like that they included a matte black in the palette, that makes it complete and perfect to travel with.

Someone felt a little bit confused about this launch, since Mulac is well known for very bold colours combination, but in my opinion In My Birthdays Suit Palette is not less original by any mean.

In my opinion the new eyeshadows' texture fully embraces and represents Mulac's creativity.

If it wasn't clear already, I absolutely love this palette.

The eyeshadows' quality is amazing, they are all so pigmented and easy to blend and I really enjoy playing with the Stardust Injection ones.

Questa palette è un po' diversa da quelle a cui Mulac ci ha abituato, sia per il formato, sia per la gamma cromatica proposta.

E' la palette di ombretti più grande che Mulac abbia mai realizzato, abbiamo 15 cialde con diversi finish e texture: matte ink, metal glow e la nuova stardust injection.

Sono colori che rappresentano il "nude" secondo Mulac, quindi abbiamo una declinazione di  beige, marroni e rosa con combinazione di sottotoni caldi e freddi, ed una la fila centrale caratterizzata da questa nuova texture, la stardust injection, che all'apparenza sembra un glitter pressato, invece come si vede anche dagli swatches, regala un effetto metallico bagnato stupendo.

La scelta di inserire il nero opaco è azzeccatissima, rende questa palette completa e perfetta da portare anche in viaggio.

C'è chi è rimasto un po' sconcertato da questa proposta, forse perchè Mulac si è sempre distinta per scelte cromatiche più azzardate, ma a mio avviso In My Birthday Suit non è meno originale, anzi con l'introduzione di questa nuova formulazione rispecchia in pieno lo spirito creativo del brand.

Se non fosse ancora chiaro, io adoro questa palette! Gli ombretti 

VELVET INK (€ 14,90)

The bundle came with three new Velvet Ink shades, plus the original In My Birthday Suit, so we have:

- Y Nada Mas, a light peach with warm undertones;

- Milf*2, since the regular lipstick Milf is one of Mulac's best seller, they came up with the liquid lipstick as well. It combines orange and red and it has a warm undertone;

- Spogliami, it's a dark burgundy combined with red and brown, it's targetted for medium-deep complexions. 

Velvet Ink have quite a liquid light texture, they get fully opaque with just one swipe and they are very long lasting.

Since they are matte liquid lipsticks they tend to dry the lips after many hours of wearing, that's why I always hydrate my lips before applying them.

Oltre a riproporre il rossetto liquido che ha ispirato tutta la collezione, Mulac ha ideato tre nuove velvet ink:

- Y Nada Mas, un pesca chiaro dal sottotono caldo;

- Milf*2, visto il successo incredibile del rossetto classico Milf, Mulac ha deciso di lanciare anche la sua versione liquida. E' un nude abbastanza scuro ed intenso che miscela al suo interno rosa ed arancio, con un sottotono caldo;

- Spogliami, un borgogna con punte di rosso e di marrone, pensato particolarmente per gli incarnati medi e scuri. 

La consistenza dei Velvet Ink è molto leggera, sono coprenti sin dalla prima passata e durano veramente tanto.

Ovviamente essendo rossetti liquidi opachi tendono a seccare le labbra, cosa che si nota soprattutto dopo averli indossati parecchie ore, quindi io preferisco preparare le labbra idratandole bene prima di applicarli.

BABY LOLITA EYELASHES (€ 11,90)

This collection includes also a pair of fake eyelashes, the Baby Lolita, that are a more natural version Mulac's best seller Cerbiatta.

Honestly I don't wear false lashes, that's why for this product I don't have a complete review.

From what I've seen on videos they look really nice on.

Fanno parte della collezione anche le ciglia finte Baby Lolita, una versione più soft delle Cerbiatta, ciglia best seller sul sito di Mulac.

Onestamente non indossando ciglia finte  non posso darvi una review completa su questo prodotto, dalle foto e dai video sono davvero belle indossate.
