L'OREAL BEAUTY AND THE BEAST

While we are waiting to see the latest Disney movie, Beauty and The Beast, L'Oreal launched a limited edition collection dedicated to this romantic love story.

Color Riche lipsticks, L'Oreal cult product, got a packaging makeover inspired by the movie characters and each one has a matching Vernis A L'Huile.

And if it wasn't enough, L'Oreal created a beautiful box that includes all the fourteen products (seven lipsticks and seven nail polishes), definitively a  collector piece for makeup addicts.

Aspettando che esca nelle sale l'attesissimo ultimo film della Disney, La Bella e La Bestia, L'Oreal ha lanciato una collezione in edizione limitata dedicata a questa romantica storia d'amore.

I rossetti Color Riche, un classico L'Oreal, si vestono di un packaging speciale per l'occasione e vengono abbinati agli smalti Vernis A L'Huile.

Come se non bastasse, L'Oreal ha anche ideato un cofanetto che si apre come uno scrigno prezioso e contiene tutti i quattordici prodotti (sette rossetti e sette smalti), un vero pezzo da collezione.

Belle with lipstick n. 337 Perfect Red and nail polish n. 550 Rouge Sauvage in a velvety red packaging with golden Belle silhouettes on them.

Both have a classic red shade, with a hint of orange and and pink.

Belle a cui sono dedicati il rossetto n. 337 Perfect Red e lo smalto n. 550 Rouge Sauvage, con un packaging rosso sul quale è impressa la silhouette dorata della protagonista. 

Entrambi di un rosso classico, con una punta sia di arancione che di rosa.

Beast has lipstick n. 703 Oud Obsession and nail polish n. 668 Bleu Royal, both in a blue packaging with claws scars.

The lipstick is a chocolaty red and the polish is a royal blue.

Bestia, con il rossetto n. 703 Oud Obsession e lo smalto n. 668 Bleu Royal. 

Il packaging è blu con l'impronta degli artigli della Bestia, il rossetto è di un color cioccolato con una punta di rosso, mentre lo smalto è, come dice il nome stesso, un royal blue.

Behind the two main characters we have the Rose under the glass bell, with lisptick n. 335 Carmin Saint Germain, a dark fuchsia red and the transparent polish n. 110 Crystal with a blue packaging decorated with a red rose.

Dietro ai due protagonisti è situata la Rosa della maledizione, custodita sotto una campana di vetro.

Ad essa sono abbinati il rossetto n. 335 Carmin Saint Germain, un rosso fucsia freddo e lo smalto trasparente n. 110 Crystal, con un packaging blu decorato da una rosa.

On the left we have the precise clock Tockins with lipstick n. 163 Orange Magique and nail polish n. 444 Orange Triomphe, with a woody packaging decorated with clocks mechanisms, both of a bright orangy shade.

A sinistra abbiamo il preciso orologio Tockins con il rossetto n. 163 Orange Magique e lo smalto n. 444 Orange Triomphe, con un packaging finto legno decorato da ingranaggi, entrambi di un rosso arancione acceso.

Mrs. Brick  has  lipstick n. 285 Pink Fever and nail polish n. 226 Nymphea, with a white packaging decorated with tons of little pink tea pots, both of a vivid dark pink shade.

A Mrs. Brick sono dedicati il rossetto n. 285 Pink Fever e lo smalto n. 226 Nymphea, con un packaging bianco decorato da tante piccole teiere rosa, entrambi di un acceso rosa scuro.

Lumiere, on the right side of the box, has lipstick n. 231 Sepia Silk and nail polish n. 116 Cafe De Nuit, both in a baroque gold packaging with wax drops on the cap of the lipstick.

The lipstick is a light semi sheer rosy brown and the polish is a rosy beige.

A destra troviamo Lumiere con il rossetto n. 231 Sepia Silk e lo smalto n. 116 Cafe De Nuit, in ricco packaging dorato su cui scendono gocce di cera.

Il rossetto è un marrone chiaro semi coprente e lo smalto beige rosato.

Last but not least Plumette,  with lipstick  n. 374 Intense Plum  and the nail polish  n. 556 Grenat Irriverent, in an icy white packaging decorated with deep red lips and feathers, both in a dark burgundy shade.

E per ultima abbiamo Spolverina a cui sono dedicati il rossetto n. 374 Intense Plum e lo smalto n. 556 Grenat Irriverent con un packaging bianco decorato dall'impronta di un bacio e da piume bordeaux, entrambi di un rosso scuro borgogna.

I got this amazing box from Amazon (€ 89,90), but the whole collection is available in various beauty departments stores.

Ho acquistato questa meravigliosa scatola in edizione limitata su Amazon (89,90 €), ma l'intera collezione è disponibile in vari negozi di cosmetici, anche se credo che Amazon rimanga l'opzione più economica.

TOO FACED | SWEET PEACH GLOW KIT

Sweet Peach collection by Too Faced recently got bigger, besides the eyeshadow palette (you can find my review here) they launched a face palette: the Sweet Peach Glow Kit ($ 42).
The packaging is adorable as usual, it's orange/pink ombre with the peach design.
Inside we have a nice mirror and three face products: an highlighter, a blush and a bronzer, all peachy toned and peachy scent infused.
It's quite obvious that this palette is targeted to fair skins, just like mine.
All the three products have really subtle colors, they won't suite medium and darker complexion.
Pigmentation is quite good, is not extreme as you can tell by the swatches, but sometimes super pigmented face powder can be a little more difficult to apply.
The pinky highlighter has some gold micro glitters that might emphasize skin imperfections, so if you don't have a perfect skin, as I don't, it's better to use a primer to get an even base before applying this product.
The peachy blush is very natural and fresh, perfect for the upcoming spring, the bronzer has quite neutral undertones, it's very light, perfect for a no makeup makeup.
It's still available on Sephora and Too Faced websites.

La collezione Sweet Peach di Too Faced si è recentemente ampliata, oltre alla palette di ombretti (di cui trovate la review qui) è uscita una palette viso: la Sweet Peach Glow Kit (40,90 €).

Il packaging è come al solito delizioso, color rosa/arancione sfumato, con il disegno della pesca in rilievo.

All'interno ci sono, oltre allo specchio, tre prodotti viso: un illuminante, un blush ed un bronzer tutti sui toni del pesca e profumano intensamente dello stesso aroma.

Risulta da subito evidente che questa palette è indirizzata soprattutto a pelli molto chiare, come la mia.

I tre prodotti hanno tutti tonalità piuttosto tenui e pertanto non particolarmente adatti ad incarnati medio-scuri.

La pigmentazione dei prodotti è abbastanza buona, come si vede dagli swatches non è esagerata, ma spesso blush o bronzer troppo pigmentati rischiano di essere più difficili da applicare.

L'illuminante rosato ha al suo interno dei micro glitter che rischiano di enfatizzare eventuali difetti della pelle, quindi se come me non avete una pelle perfetta, consiglio di utilizzare un primer per omogeneizzare la grana della pelle.
Il blush color pesca è molto fresco e naturale, ideale per la primavera in arrivo, quanto al bronzer, non ha un sottotono predominante, è adatto a chi preferisce comunque un no makeup makeup.

MAC | SHADESCENT

Recently MAC launched Shadescent, a perfumes line that matches some of their most famous lipsticks.

The lipsticks are:

- Heroine vibrant purple with warm undertones and satin finish

- Ruby Woo blue toned red with matte finish

- Lady Danger orange red with warm undertones and matte finish

- Candy Yum Yum blue toned neon fuchsia with matte finish

- Velvet Teddy light rosy brow with warm undertones and satin finish

- Crem D'Nude light peachy pink with warm undertones and satin finish

The lipsticks' packaging is different from the classic black one, in fact it matches the lipstick bullet.

Each scent matches a specific lipstick, there are six different perfumes, but I must admit I'm not the best at describing scents, so I suggest trying them yourself!

Recentemente MAC ha lanciato Shadescent, una linea di profumi abbinata ad alcuni dei loro rossetti più famosi.

I rossetti sono:

- Heroine viola brillante dal sottotono caldo e dal finish satinato

- Ruby Woo rosso dal sottotono blu e dal finish opaco

- Lady Danger rosso arancione molto acceso dal sottotono caldo e dal finish opaco

- Candy Yum Yum fucsia neon dal sottotono blu e dal finish opaco

Tutti i rossetti hanno un packaging diverso dal classico nero, infatti si abbina al colore del rossetto.

Ogni profumo corrisponde ad un rossetto, sono sei distinte fragranze, ma ammetto di non essere un'esperta in materia, quindi vi consiglio di provarli voi stessi!

YUME TWINS BOX UNBOXING | January

Finally my January Yume Twins Box has arrived!

As they announced at the end of 2016, they changed and improved the box design, in fact it's more sleek and simple, and the bright teal inside is very nice.

Inside we have the booklet where you can easily find out all about the products included, as well as the box theme, that for January box was Happy New Year!

Finalmente è arrivata la mia Yume Twins box di gennaio!

Come avevano promesso il design è un po' cambiato dalle scorse box, l'esterno è più semplice e lineare, molto carino, l'interno è di un bel verde acqua acceso.

All'interno troviamo come sempre l'opuscolo che spiega i prodotti inseriti nella box, ed il tema di gennaio, ossia Happy New Year!

• RILAKKUMA Shampoo Bottle

An adorable shampoo/soap bottle shaped as  Rilakkuma bear.

It's already placed in my bathroom because it's too cute to handle!

Un delizioso porta sapone liquido a forma di orsetto Rilakkuma, ovviamente l'ho già posizionato in bagno perchè è semplicemente adorabile!

• SAILOR MOON Plushie

A Sailor Moon plushie, my favorite manga/anime and my favorite character Usagi, couldn't be happier!

Un peluche di Sailor Moon (il mio anime e manga preferito), e tra tutte le guerriere mi è capitata proprio Usagi, cosa desiderare di più?

• SANRIO Crazy Socks 

Sanrio fuzzy socks, I got the Hello Kitty ones, so soft and warm, I hope they will fit my size 41 feet (European size), we'll see..

Un paio di calzini con i personaggi Sanrio, nel mio caso Hello Kitty, molto morbidi e sicuramente molto caldi, ma non so se il mio piedino di fata n. 41 riuscirà ad entraci.. vedremo!

•  TSUM TSUM Cosmetic Pouch

A little Tsum Tsum by Disney pouch.

I don't know about you, but I'm obsessed with Tsum Tsum, I collect my favorite characters mini plushes, they are so adorable!

Un piccolo astuccio della linea Tsum Tsum di Diseny, io sono letteralmente ossessionata dagli Tsum Tsum, mi piace collezionare i mini peluches dei miei personaggi preferiti, sono davvero carinissimi.

• RILAKKUMA New Year Mochi

In this kawaii Rilakkuma packaging there are two mochi, a typical japanese food made with rice.

Usually in Japan they place these mochi on an altar and then they eat them the second week of January.

You can cook them in the microwave or on a pan so they become sticky and brown, and then you can add savory or sweet ingredients to taste.

In questa graziosa confezione sono contenuti due mochi, uno dei cibi tipici giapponesi a base di riso.

E' usanza posizionarli sopra ad un altare e poi mangiarli all'inizio del nuovo anno come porta fortuna.

Si scaldano (al microonde o in padella) e diventano molto morbidi, si posso mangiare sia salati che dolci a seconda di cosa vi si aggiunge.

Vi aspetto per il prossimo unboxing della Yume Twins di febbraio!

KYLIE COSMETICS | VALENTINE'S DAY COLLECTION HEAD OVER HEELS LIP KIT

Last post about the limited edition Valentine's Day collection by Kylie Cosmetics, if you missed my other two posts you can find them here: Mini Matte Liquid Lipsticks, Smooch Mini Set.

This is Head Over Heels, one of the two limited edition lip kits (the other one is Valentine, a neon bright fuchsia).

Inside the box we have the matching lip liner, with a nice cap full of little silver heart and the liquid lipstick in the red limited edition packaging.

This shade is a muted dark purply mauve, it's beautiful, very pigmented and opaque with just one swipe.

As usual for Kylie Cosmetics lip kits, the texture is quite liquid and light, it tends to dry the lips a little bit, as every matte lipstick does, but it last for ever even after having a meal.

The lip liner glides easily and it's very soft and pigmented.

On the box you can also find the "to"-"from" that you can always use if you'd like to give it as a gift, a really nice touch.

Ultimo post dedicato alla collezione in edizione limitata per San Valentino di Kylie Cosmetics, se vi siete persi i precedenti due post li trovate qui: Mini Matte Liquid Lipsticks, Smooch Mini Set.

Questo è Head Over Heels, uno dei due lip kit in edizione limitata (l'altro è Valentine, un fucsia molto acceso).

All'interno troviamo la matita corrispondente al colore del rossetto con un packaging lievemente diverso dal solito, sul tappo ci sono tanti cuoricini argentati, e il rossetto nel packaging rosso in edizione limitata.

Head Over Heels è un color malva scuro davvero molto bello, molto pigmentato e coprente già dalla prima passata.

Come tutti i rossetti liquidi di Kylie Cosmetics, la texture è piuttosto liquida e leggera, tendono a seccare le labbra, come tutti i rossetti opachi, e durano davvero tante ore anche dopo aver mangiato.

Anche la matita è molto scrivente e morbida.

Sul retro della confezione troviamo le scritte "to" (per) e "from" (da) per poterlo regalare, un'idea molto carina.
