COSMOPROF FOCUS | FABY

One of the stands I really couldn't miss at Cosmoprof Bologna 2017 was Faby, an italian brand with over 30 years of experience in the field.
Their nail polish range includes over 242 colors, created by combining tradition and innovation.
At Cosmoprof they presented the new added shades of the nature Collection, all the nail polishes are made with 87% vegetal ingredients, which are really good for your nails and for the enviroment as well.
This collection started with a range of neutral shades, and now it gets a lot more vibrant and fun colors such as blue, green, red purple and orange.

Tra gli stand che ho visitato al Cosmoprof Bologna 2017, non poteva mancare Faby, un brand tutto italiano con oltre trent'anni d'esperienza nel settore beauty.

La loro linea di smalti comprende un gamma di oltre 242 colori, creati combinando tradizione ed innovazione.
Al Cosmoprof hanno presentano le nuove varianti colore degli smalti della Nature Collection, che sono composti per l'87% da ingredienti di origine vegetale, quindi sicuri ed eco friendly.
Una linea già presente nella collezione Faby, con colori più neutri, che oggi si riveste di tonalità accese e divertenti, come blu, verde, rosso, viola ed arancione.

They also launched the new I'm Faby collection that takes inspiration from fashion shows' backstage, with this lovely pastel range of colors that goes from a pale lilac to a dark chocolaty brown.

E' stata presentata anche l'ultima collezione primavera/estate I'm Faby, ispirata ai colori di tendenza visti nel backstage delle sfilate, nuance pastello delicate che variano dal lilla al verde fino al marrone scuro. 

They left me three mini nail polish from their new collection to try and I can't wait to see how they look!

I will definitively keep an eye on this amazing brand, I love the eco friendly collection and all the care they put into their products, you really can't go wrong with made in Italy products!

Mi hanno lasciato tre smaltini di questa ultima collezione da provare e non vedo l'ora di vedere come sono!

Faby è sicuramente un brand da tenere d'occhio per tutte le novità che propone e per la cura che viene messa nella creazione dei loro prodotti, ancora una volta viva il made in Italy!

WAITING FOR COSMOPROF | MOYOU LONDON

I love nail art designs, but I must admit I'm definitively not a pro when it comes to do my nails.
That's why I was so enthusiastic when I found out about MoYou London at Cosmoprof Bologna 2016.
This brand is well famous for its stamping nail art kits, that allows you to create very intricate decorations in a quick and easy way.
All you need is a nail art plate, which has several designs, and a specific theme (for instance Alice in wonderland, zodiac or even cooking).
You just need to put a few drops of nail polish on the decoration of your choice and then you scrape the excess off with the selected tool (the scraper).
Now it's time to press the stamper on the same decoration and you press it again on the nail to reveal a perfect nail art mani.
You can choose from so many different designs, you can buy product separately or pick the bundles (you can see a bundle example in the pictures below) which contains pretty much all you need for a stamping nail art manicure.
They also made a crystal clear stamper that will help you achieve your perfect mani even better, allowing you to see exactly where are you placing the design on your nails.

Adoro le nail art, ma devo ammettere di non essere particolarmente abile nel realizzarle, quindi sono stata davvero contenta di imbattermi nello stand di MoYou London al Cosmoprof dell'anno scorso.

Questo brand è famoso per i suoi Stamping Nail Art Kit, in questi set trovate tutto quello che vi serve per nail art davvero complicate, ma facilissime da realizzare.
Ci sono dei "piattini" sui quali sono incise varie decorazioni ed ognuno ha un tema specifico (come ad esempio Alice nel paese delle meraviglie, lo zodiaco o persino delizie da mangiare).
Si stende poco smalto sulla decorazione che si vuole riprodurre sull'unghia e la si "gratta" con un piccolo strumento fatto apposta, detto scraper, per rimuovere lo smalto in eccesso.
Successivamente si usa lo stampino e lo si preme sulla decorazione sulla quale è stato precedentemente versato e diffuso lo smalto, poi lo si preme nuovamente questa volta sull'unghia ed ecco che appare il design desiderato.
Ci sono infinite varietà di decorazioni, i prodotti si possono acquistare singolarmente, oppure in bundles (di cui vedete un esempio nelle foto) già composti di tutto quello che vi serve per questo tipo di nail art.
Adesso esistono anche gli stampini trasparenti, che permettono un'applicazione più precisa e ancora più facile del design sulle unghie.

BLACK FRIDAY HAUL | CHANEL

This is my first 2016 post and first of all Happy New Year! 

I'm still talking about Black Friday deals, this time I found a nice discount on a beauty brand that usually never goes on sale, I'm talking about Chanel.

I was ipnotized by the Rouge Noir Absolument Holiday 2015 collection by Chanel, not so much by the eyeshadow quad or the lipstick, which seemed not so pigmented, but the nail polishes and the cream eyeshadow.

The Rouge Noir nail polishes collection consist of two polishes: n. 757 Rose Fusion, which is a shiny silver with a purple undertone and n. 18 Rouge Noir, a dark reddish plum with black undertones, and a Top Coat Lamé Rouge Noir, full of gold sparkles.

All of them are simply gorgeous, both polishes are really opaque and the top coat, which at first I wasn't really sure about, turned out to be amazing.

I put it on top of the Rouge Noir and the result was beautiful.

Primo post del 2016 e quindi prima di iniziare Buon Anno!

Siamo sempre in tema di saldi, in questo caso si tratta ancora degli acquisti fatti durante il black friday.

Sono passata casualmente da Coin dove ho trovato ad aspettarmi il 20% di sconto su tutta la profumeria e su marchi che non vanno quasi mai in saldo.

Sono rimasta ipnotizzata dalla collezione Rouge Noir Absolument Holiday 2015 di Chanel, non tanto dalla palette di ombretti e dal rossetto, che swatchando sembravano poco pigmentati, ma dagli smalti e dall'ombretto in crema.

La collezione consiste appunto in due smalti n. 757 Rose Fusion, un argento viola metallico e n. 18 Rouge Noir, un bordeaux che tende al nero, e in un top coat Lamé Rouge Noir, pieno di pagliuzze dorate.

Sono semplicemente stupendi, i due smalti sono coprenti e resistenti e il top coat, sul quale avevo qualche dubbio iniziale, è superlativo, ogni passata è piena di glitter dorati ed il risultato è bellissimo.

This is not my first Illusion D'Ombre, I've already tried out a few and felt in love with them.
It's basically the easiest way to pull off a nice look with minimum effort, one swipe and you're good to go.
The texture is very creamy at first, but then when you apply it it actually sets like powder.
They last for a long time without smudging and they don't fade into eyelids' fine lines.
This n. 857 Rouge Noir is a very peculiar color, a mixture of dark red, maroon and black wit purple and gold shimmer, it was love a first sight.

In passato ho già acquistato degli ombretti in crema Chanel Illusion d'Ombre e me ne sono innamorata.

E' sicuramente il modo più semplice per ottenere un look d'effetto in pochissimo tempo, una passata e via, il trucco occhi è fatto.

La consistenza è cremosa, ma una volta applicati sembrano trasformarsi in polvere, la durata è ottima e non vanno a finire nelle pieghette/rughette delle palpebre.

Questo è il n. 857 Rouge Noir, un misto tra rosso scuro, marrone e nero con riflessi oro e viola, un colore davvero particolare che definirei intenso e misterioso, quando si dice amore a prima vista.

OPI at COSMOPROF 2015

Pavilion 36 at Cosmoprof Bologna 2015 was just nails heaven, OPI stand was of course a huge part of that happy place. 

OPI stand was as crowded as you can imagine, they were also selling their products with a nice discount and it was an amazing opportunity for me to have a sneak peek of the newest collection that will be soon released here in my country as well.

I had the opportunity to speak with the marketing Manager and she was was so kind to show me all the cool new stuff, I'm talking about new colors, but also new textures and finish. but first things first.

Padiglione 36 del Cosmoprof Bologna 2015, il regno degli smalti e della nail art, ovviamente non poteva mancare lo stand OPI.

Anche qui lunghe file per acquistare i prodotti con lo sconto speciale della fiera e un'ottima occasione per me per sbirciare tutte le nuovissime collezioni di questo noto brand americano.

Ho avuto l'opportunità di parlare con la Marketing Manager, la quale è stata gentilissima e mi ha illustrato tutte le ultime linee ideate da OPI.

Si parla non solo di nuovi colori, ma soprattutto di textures diverse e particolari, dal gel finish alla possibilità di creare combinazioni di colori

This one is definitively the most innovative one, we are talking about blendable chromatic colors, created for artistic nail art and meant to be extremely amusing.

The silver base will make the other colors pop out and change intensity, which can be also modulated by how you actually apply the colors.

A strong stroke will give you more intensity, a light one a more delicated effect.

This collection really caught my attention, it's meant to be super interesting and super creative!

Questa è sicuramente la collezione più innovativa, si tratta di colori miscelabili tra di loro, ideati per nail art artistiche ed allo stesso tempo estremamente divertenti. 

La base argentata consentirà ai colori di variare modulazione, da chiara a scura, l'intensità dipenderà anche dalla stessa applicazione, dal tratto deciso oppure leggero.

Insomma si preannuncia una collezione veramente interessante e fuori dal comune che non vedo l'ora di provare!

This is the collection for who loves gel finish but doesn't want to go to a nail salon to get the nails properly done. 

With these gel polishes you get the same amazing shiny finish, your mani will last longer and you won't need to use any hot tool.

The Marketing Manager was also so kind to give me two full size OPI nail polishes from the latest collection for summer, Hawaii.
They are so bright and gorgeous! They make me think of hot sand and blue sea, can't wait to wear them!

la Marketing manager è stata così gentile da regalarmi due smalti OPI full size dell'ultima collezione per l'estate, Hawaii.

I colori sono stupendi, così vivaci, mi fanno pensare alla sabbia calda e al blu del mare e non vedo l'ora di indossarli!

ESSIE at COSMOPROF 2015

Cosmoprof pavillion 36 was nails heaven, there were nail polishes and accessories everywhere, and I got sucked in for about 3 hours.

The first stand I visited was the ESSIE one, famous american brand which nail polishes are considered must have all over the world.

The colours scheme is practically limitless, all the polishes names are flirty and peculiar, the quality is really high, these are the features that can define ESSIE's products and mission.

The ESSIE stand was selling their products with 40% of discount, so you can easily imagine the crowd assaulting the stand!

I had the chance to speak with the PR manager for L'Oreal Italia (and ESSIE as well), she was so kind to tell me everything about all ESSIE products.

After browsing a lot of lovely classic polishes, she introduced me the new gel line that you can find in selected beauty salon, and the SPA treatments for hands, nails and cuticles to achieve the perfect manicure even at home.

After all this nail polish galore I couldn't resist so I got for my self two sets of mini nail polishes (4 minis 5 euros, such a bargain!).

I went for more classic colours, some reds, neautrals and a lovely blue. I like them all, they all apply opaque and evenly, but I always apply two coats for best result.

Il padiglione 36 al Cosmoprof era il paradiso della nail art, smalti e accessori a perdita d'occhio, inutile dire che sono stata risucchiata all'interno di questo delirio per alcune ore.

Il primo stand che ho visitato è stato quello di ESSIE, nota marca americana i cui smalti sono diventati oggetto di culto in tutto il mondo. 

Il range di colori praticamente infinito, la scelta di nomi davvero particolare, la costante ricerca della qualità e della novità sono i punti di forza di questo marchio.

Al Cosmoprof lo stand ESSIE vendeva i suoi prodotti al 40% di sconto, vi lascio immaginare la fila di ragazze impazzite.

Ho avuto modo di parlare con la responsabile della comunicazione, che mi ha illustrato tutte le linee di punta del brand.

Oltre agli smalti più classici, ESSIE propone una linea gel da salone e una serie di trattamenti SPA per mani, unghie e cuticole da poter fare anche a casa per una manicure professionale.

Ovviamente escono spesso nuove collezioni ispirate alle stagioni ed ai trend del momento, alcune anche in edizione limitata. 

Tra gli smalti in vendita ho visto dei set di mini smalti, ognuno con quattro colori all'interno, e non ho saputo resistere (anche perchè ogni set costava solo 5 euro!)

I colori sono piuttosto classici e mi piacciono tutti, la stesura è facilissima, nonostante l'ottima coprenza consiglio comunque due passate per un effetto più intenso.
