Visiting Japan during the cherry blossom season is one of my biggest dream, since sadly even this year I wasn't able to make it I'm comforting myself with this gorgeous MAC collection, that has one of the most gorgeous packaging I've ever seen: the BOOM BOOM BLOOM collection.

Ogni prodotto è inondato di petali di fiori di ciliegio e io davvero non ho saputo resistere!
Let's start with the KABUKI DOLL ($ 33) mini eyeshadow palette, it contains 9 eyeshadows with mainly neutral and warm shaders and various finishes, from matte to frost to metallic.
Mini palettes are my jam, they are so convenient when you travel and usually they have all the shades you need to create a complete look.
These eyeshadows are all pigmented, easy to blend, a really nice palette.
Iniziamo con la mini palette KABUKI DOLL (€ 43), contiene 9 ombretti dalle tonalità neutre e calde, con un mix di finish opaco, frost e metallico.
Io uso tantissimo queste mini palette perchè sono perfette da portare in viaggio e hanno tutti i colori che servono per un look completo.
Gli ombretti sono tutti pigmentati, si applicano e si sfumano facilmente, davvero un'ottima palette.
There are 4 lipglass ($ 18,50) shades in this collection and I picked up HEARTMELTER, a mauve pink and CHERRY MOCHI, a raspberry pink, both highly pigmented and comfortable on the lips.
Tra le quattro tonalità di lipglass (€ 15,50) disponibili ho scelto HEARTMELTER, un rosa malva e CHERRY MOCHI, un rosa lampone, entrambi super pigmentati e confortevoli.
Il finish a specchio rende le labbra voluttuose
From this collection lipsticks' range ($ 19,50) I got WAGASA TWIRL, light pink with warm undertones and matte pearlescent finish, and FRAMBOISE MOI, a berry dark pink with cool undertones and matte finish.
Both have high opacity, one swipe and you are good to go, can't go wrong with MAC lipsticks.
Tra le cinque tonalità di rossetti (€ 20,50), ho scelto WAGASA TWIRL, un rosa chiaro dal sottotono caldo e FRAMBOISE MOI, un rosa scuro, ma luminoso, lampone dal sottotono freddo, entrambi dal finish opaco.
Entrambi super pigmentati, una passata basta per avere subito un colore pieno, non si può sbagliare con i rossetti MAC.
Now let's talk about the two Highlight Powders ($ 30), FLEUR REAL and SPRING BLING, the two most hyped products of the entire Boom Boom Bloom Collection and at the same time the most controversial ones.
The packaging is just beyond beautiful, the cherry blossom invaded also the pans that look incredible.
They both have a glitter overspray that comes off after a few swirl.
Beneath all that glitters there are two powder that to me don't look at all like highlighters.
Fleur Real is a very light pink that looks totally matte to me, it could be a blush for very pale skin.
Spring Bling is way more pigmented, and it could work as a shimmery bronzer since its texture is very buttery and creamy.
I knew what I was going to find when I bought these two powders, but I think I'm going to collect them, because they are just too gorgeous, don't judge me!
Passiamo alle due Highlight Powders (€ 29), FLEUR REAL e SPRING BLING, probabilmente i prodotti più attesi di questa collezione ed i più controversi.
Partiamo dal fatto che il packaging è davvero superlativo, i sakura non si trovano solo nella confezione esterna, ma invadono anche la cialda di illuminante.
Entrambi hanno uno strato di glitter, il primo passa dal viola al rosa tenue, mentre il secondo è completamente dorato, che purtroppo viene via alla prima passata.
Sotto questo strato ci sono le due polveri compatte che dovrebbero essere illuminanti, ma onestamente non lo sono.
Fleur Real ha una tonalità rosa chiaro quasi del tutto opaca, sembra quasi più un blush chiarissimo, che un vero e proprio illuminante.
Spring Bling è quello tra i due che presenta la pigmentazione maggiore, tolto lo spesso strato di glitter sotto c'è un bronzer dal finish satinato e dalla texture cremosa.
Devo ammettere che ho acquistato queste due powders ben sapendo a cosa andavo incontro, ma ho deciso di collezionarli perchè sono stupendi, non ho saputo resistere!
FIX PLUS ($ 28) is one of MAC staples, this one in particular has an amazing packaging and it smells like cherries, I guess there is nothing more to add!
Di FIX PLUS (€ 19,50) non se ne ha mai abbastanza, questo poi oltre al packaging superlativo ha un lieve profumo di ciliegia buonissimo.
