As I promised in my latest blog post (that you can find here), since Jeffree Star Cosmetics is now available in Europe and at Marionnaud stores, here's my review of the Thirsty palette.
This 15 eyeshadows palette came out with the summer collection earlier this year.
The summer theme is very clear if you take a look at the orangy yellow packaging with clear drops and at the color scheme that combines earthy tones to bright pops of colour.
Eyeshadows in the first and third and last rows have a matte finish, 5 shades variates from taupe to brown and the other 5 from bright yellow, to coral, blue and aqua green.
They all feel very buttery and smooth to the touch, very easy to blend, they are all pigmented, I only had to layer a few times more Tastebuds to achieve an intense payoff.
In the middle row we have 5 ultra metallics eyeshadows with a peculiar texture.
They are very pigmented, I prefer applying them with my fingers since with the brush I struggle to get that wow effect.
I've noticed though that Snatch and Plunge loose quite a lot of glitters even when removed.
I would use a primer or a glitter glue to avoid that.
Overall I really enjoy this palette since it's so versatile, also the bright colours and the ultra metallic ones make it really different from what we usually see.

Come vi avevo promesso nel mio post precedente (che trovate qui), in occasione del lancio di Jeffree Star Cosmetics in Europa e nelle profumerie Marionnaud, ecco la review della Thristy palette.
Questa palette di 15 ombretti è uscita con la collezione estiva JSC di quest'anno, come si vede dal packaging arancione e giallo coperto di gocce trasparenti in rilievo e dalla gamma cromatica che alterna tonalità più neutre a colori accesi.
Gli ombretti della prima e della terza ed ultima fila hanno tutti un finish opaco, abbiamo 5 colorazioni che variano dal marrone al taupe e altre 5 più vibranti, come giallo, azzurro, verde acqua e due tra il rosso e l'arancione.
Sono tutti molto burrosi al tatto, scriventi e facili da sfumare, l'unico che ho dovuto stratificare più volte per ottenere un effetto più intenso è Tastebuds.
La fila di mezzo contiene cinque ombretti metallici con una texture particolare.
Sono tutti pigmentatissimi, io preferisco applicarli con le dita in quanto il pennello non preleva bene il prodotto e non riesce a dare quell'effetto wow.
Utilizzando gli ombretti Snatch e Plunge mi sono accorta che i glitter presenti all'interno dopo un po' iniziano a girare e anche struccandomi me li sono trovati un po' dappertutto.
Quello che vi consiglio di fare, proprio per evitare questo inconveniente, è utilizzare un primer specifico per pigmenti o per glitter.
Nel complesso trovo questa palette piuttosto versatile, i colori accesi e gli ombretti ultra metallici la rendono sicuramente più interessante e diversa da quello che si vede di solito.
