LUSH HALLOWEEN COLLECTION

Halloween has become popular even here in Italy, LUSH recently launched a super cute spooky limited collection.

I got the Bat Heebie Jeebie kit ($ 17,95), a bat shaped box (adorable) which has insiede a shower jelly Nightwing, wich smells of gummy bears and a shower cream, Lord of Misrule, a spicy mix of black pepper and patchouli.

I suggest you to use the jelly only in the shower because it stains, you can either break it in little pieces to use each time or leave it in the fridge to make it more sturdy, with the water it becomes foamy and leaves the skin super soft.
All the products included in the kit are available also separately.

In occasione della festa di Halloween, ormai popolarissima anche in Italia, LUSH ha lanciato una collezione limited edition tutta a tema, davvero carinissima!

Tra le varie proposte ho acquistato il set doccia nella confezione pipistrello Bat Heebie Jeebie (18 €).

Al suo interno ho trovato una gelatina da doccia Nightwing a forma di pipistrello, dal profumo dolce di caramelle gommose e una mini taglia di Lord of Misrule crema da doccia, con un mix speziato patchouli e pepe nero.

La gelatina tinge di blu, quindi assicuratevi di usarla solo sotto la doccia, si può spezzettare oppure si può anche lasciare nel frigo per farla solidificare ed usarla intera, a contatto con l'acqua crea una piacevole schiuma cremosa.

I recently started to get to know LUSH products a little bit better, thanks to my dear friend who's totally in love with this brand.

Recently I've received Make Up For Ever Holidays Sets press kit, all the product will be available in Italy in november, in my city Bologna they will be available at La Truccheria, the only MUFE flagship store in Italy.

I must admit I'm always on Google to browse new products and collections, that's why I decided to write a post about this new release (this is not sponsored by any mean, I've received the press kit with only pictures and info and I decided to share it with you. All the prices will be in Euros).

I think they are all very interesting sets, I like the fact they are very different from each other both on the products included and the price point.

The huge palette caught my eyes first, of course, the new MUFE eyeshadow formulation is to die for, they are so pigmented and buttery, the apply and blend effortlessly.

It's time for that Christmas wish list already!

Sono davvero tutti set molto interessanti, mi piace che siano molto diversificati, sia per quanto riguarda il contenuto che per il prezzo.

Ovviamente ho già adocchiato la palette di 15 ombretti, da quando sono stati riformulati gli Artist Shadows sono incredibili, pigmentatissimi, burrosi, si applicano e si sfumano con una facilità estrema.

Insomma è già il momento di creare una wish list natalizia!

MAC VIVA GLAM MILEY CYRUS I-II

This time buying a lipstick is actually for a good cause.
I've already talked about Viva Glam project by MAC Cosmetics (you can find related post here and here), every year MAC collaborate with a celebrity to create and promote a lipstick (and usually a lipglass) to raise money to support the MAC Aids Fund.
Every time you buy a Viva Glam lipstick or lipglass, the MAC Aids Fund devolves those money (100% of it) to those associations that help and support who is affected by HIV Aids, a plague that is still killing people right now, and stigmatize those who suffer by it.
Last Viva Glam MAC Girl, as she describes herself, was controversial pop star Miley Cyrus.
Just like MAC did with Rihanna, they launched two different Viva Glam (I and II) in two different times of the year.
The first one is a vibrant fuchsia with cold undertone and satin finish.
As you can see from the swatches, is super pigmented, it applies easily and it's nice on the lips, not too drying at all.
The lipglass is a lighter shining sheer fuchsia with pink and teal sparkle in it, is made to wear on its own or to layer it on top of the lipstick.
The Viva Glam Miley Cyrus II, is a vivid orange/red with warm undertone and a semi matte finish.
Very pigmented and opaque, it glides effortless on the lips.
The lipglass is a sheer coral with pink and gold sparkle, even this one can be applied on its own or layered on top of the lipstick to achieve that shiny effect.


Comprare un rossetto in questo caso è davvero una buona azione.

Vi avevo già parlato, in passato, del progetto Viva Glam di MAC Cosmetics (trovate i post qui e qui), ogni anno MAC collabora con personaggi di spicco e celebrità per creare un rossetto (19 euro) ed un gloss (18,20 euro) al fine di raccogliere denaro per il MAC Aids Fund.  

Ogni volta che acquistate un Viva Glam, il MAC Aids Fund devolve i soldi (il 100% delle vendite) alle associazioni a sostegno di chiunque sia affetto da questo morbo terribile che purtroppo, ancora oggi, miete numerose vittime e crea un vero e proprio stigma su chi lo contrae.  

L'ultima partner di eccellenza, o MAC Girl come lei stessa si definisce, è stata la controversa Miley Cyrus,
Come nella scorsa collaborazione con Rihanna, sono stati lanciati a distanza di tempo due Viva Glam.
Il primo è un fuchsia intenso e vibrante, dal sottotono freddo e dal finish satinato.
Come si vede dallo swatch è super pigmentato, si applica facilmente ed è confortevole sulle labbra.
Il lipglass è un fuchsia più chiaro con glitter rosa e verde acqua, super lucido e luminoso.
Si può applicare anche in combinazione con il rossetto.
Il secondo Viva Glam è un rosso aranciato dal sottotono caldo, con un finish a metà tra il matte e il satinato.
Anche questo pigmentatissimo, coprente, scivola sulle labbra che è un piacere.
Il lipglass è un lieve color corallo, praticamente trasparente, con glitter rosa e oro, anche questo può essere applicato da solo o sopra al rossetto.

I love both of the Miley's Viva Glam, they are quite bright, but still wearable, and the quality is outstanding.

Adoro entrambi i Viva Glam, sono tonalità vivaci, ma portabili e la qualità dei rossetti è indiscutibile, se poi ci aggiungiamo che l'intero prezzo della vendita va in beneficenza è ancora più bello acquistarli e fare effettivamente qualcosa di buono.

To celebrate its fifth anniversary, QVC Italia released some amazing offers, and of course I couldn't help myself and I got the Today Special Value by BareMinerals.
I've already bought a lot of products by this brand and I really like them all, the mineral foundation is one of my staple beauty products, and with QVC you know you will save a lot of money!

In occasione del quinto anniversario del canale QVC Italia, ci sono state tantissime offerte interessanti sul canale dello shopping, e io a quale potevo cedere?

Ovviamente al TSV di BareMinerals!

E' un brand che adoro, ho già acquistato molti kit e prodotti su QVC, perchè mi trovo molto bene e onestamente risparmio parecchio.

In questo caso si tratta del set Modern Luxuries Sultry & Sweet, composto da ben 8 prodotti.

You could choose the right foundation shade, and as usual I got the lightest one.

The brushes have really nice quality and they feel soft on the skin. 

The first one is specific to apply powder foundation, with the double-ended one you can apply eyeshadows with one side and blush with the other.

The eyeliner it's in a nice dark grey color and it doesn't need to be sharpened, which is always a bonus.

The loose eyeshadows can be applied also wet to intensify the pigmentation, which is pretty impressive even dry.

The first one it's a taupy grey and the other one it's a bright light grey.

The berry blush it's very pigmented, a little bit goes a long way, it blends easily on the skin.

Last but not least the marvellous moxie lipsticks in this reddish plum color that scream fall to me. It's soft and nice on the lips, it applies evenly and it has a satin finish.

Era possibile scegliere la variante colore del fondotinta compatto, io, come al solito, ho optato per quella più chiara.

I pennelli sono davvero morbidi, il primo serve per applicare sul viso fondotinta minerali, il secondo ha una punta per applicare l'ombretto ed una per il blush, entrambe sono angolate.

La matita per occhi è di un color grigio scuro, carbone, ha uno sfumino in gomma ed è  quindi non serve il temperino.

Gli ombretti in polvere minerale della bareMinerals si possono applicare sia asciutti che bagnati, sono in due tonalità di grigio, una più scura, tendente al tortora e l'altra più accesa e chiara.

Il blush, pigmentatissimo, è di un rosa scuro molto intenso, ne basta davvero poco e si sfuma facilmente.

Il rossetto è perfetto per la stagione autunnale appena iniziata, è un lampone scuro, ma luminoso, ha una texture cremosa ed è molto pigmentato.

Inside this kit we also have a little booklet with two face charts with some suggestions about how to use all the products, which I find always useful to get some inspiration.

All'interno del kit si trova anche un libretto con due face charts con alcuni suggerimenti su come utilizzare i vari prodotti, cosa che ritengo sempre utile per trarne ispirazione.

My opinion on this TSV couldn't be less than super positive, I've already tried all the products and I really like them. 
The price point is amazing, you actually pay 49,98 Euros which is slightly above the foundation price and you get 8 products!

BareMinerals never let me down, I have very sensitive skin and I've never had a problem with their products, that's why I really recommend you to check it out.

I suggest you also to have a look at QVC website if it's available in your country, because you can find some pretty good deals, not only in the beauty department, even though that's what I'm most interested about!

Il mio giudizio su questo TSV non può essere che positivo, ho già provato tutti i prodotti e mi sono trovata molto bene, senza dimenticare poi che il prezzo è davvero incredibile 49,98 euro, che è poco più di quanto costa il fondotinta.

BareMinerals è un brand che non mi ha mai deluso, soprattutto non mi ha mai dato problemi nonostante la mia pelle molto sensibile, quindi mi sento di consigliarvelo.

L'offerta del TSV è ovviamente terminata, ma potete ancora trovare questo kit sul sito di QVC Italia sempre ad un prezzo molto vantaggioso.
