To celebrate Chinese Lunar new year MAC came out at the beginning of January with this gorgeous red collection.
The packaging is what caught my eyes immediately, this glossy red with chinese decors is stunning.
The collection includes:
- 5 lipsticks (3 permanet shades Lady Danger, Ruby Woo, Russian Red and 2 new shades Lotus Light and Lucky in love) $ 19,50
- A powder blush duo (2 permanent shades Melba and Love Cloud) $ 29
- 129 S Powder Brush $ 36
I got the blush duo since I din't have those two shades in my collection.
Melba is a MAC staple, it's a warm peachy matte really smooth and pigmented, Love Cloud is a hot pink with satin finish, it's nice also to combine the two for a pop of color on the cheecks.
I also got 2 of the lipsticks, I picked up Lotus Light, a bright red with the amplified finish and Lucky in love, a matte mauvy pink.
They are both very pigmented and opaque, one swipe and you are good to go, but honestly you can't go wrong with MAC lipsticks.

Per celebrare il nuovo anno lunare cinese, MAC all'inizio di gennaio ha proposto questa bellissima nuova collezione tutta rossa.
Col packaging è stato amore a prima vista, questo rosso lucido decorato da motivi ispirati all'arte cinese è semplicemente meraviglioso.
La collezione si compone di:
- 5 rossetti (3 fanno parte della linea permanente Lady Danger, Ruby Woo, Russian Red e 2 new sono nuovi Lotus Light and Lucky in love) € 21,90
- Un powder blush duo (2 tonalità della linea permanente Melba e Love Cloud) € 27,50
- 129 S Powder Brush € 42,50
Io ho acquistato il blush duo, visto che non avevo questi due colori nella mia collezione.
Melpa lo definirei un prodotto cult di MAC, è un rosa pesca opaco burroso e molto pigmentato, mentre Love Cloud è un rosa acceso dal finish satinato, stanno bene anche mischiati per un tocco di colore sulle guance.
Ho anche acquistato 2 dei 5 rossetti nelle due tonalità nuove, Lotus Light, un rosso rosato acceso col finish Amplified e Lucky in love, un rosa con una punta di malva opaco.
Entrambi sono molto pigmentati e coprenti, basta davvero una passata per ottenere un colore pieno, ma onestamente con i rossetti MAC non si può sbagliare!
Questa collezione mi piace davvero tanto e sono contenta dei miei acquisti.
