New order from Sephora: skincare and Sephora Box

I placed one of my last Sephora's order ages ago (at least one month ago) and everything I ordered was focused on prepping my skin to get in the sun.
I've already tried one of the product, but the other three are new for me, even though I know and trust this brands.
All the products are aimed for combination to oily skin (which off course is my skin kind), all I wanted was clean, purify and scrub my skin to be prepared for summer.

Il mio ultimo ordine fatto sul sito di Sephora, risale ormai ad un mese fa ed è tutto incentrato sul preparare la pelle al sole e a purificarla. Ho già avuto modo di provare uno di questi prodotti, gli altri sono nuovi per me, ma comunque non ho osato più di tanto, ho scelto marchi super conosciuti, con cui di solito mi trovo bene.
Sono tutti prodotti per pelli miste/grasse perfetti per detergere, purificare ed esfoliare.

• Clarins Doux Nettoyant Moussant / Sephora Italia (125 ml 21,50 euro)

• Clarins Masque Purifiant Eclat / Sephora Italia (50 ml 25,50 euro) 

• Clinique Exfoliating Scrub / Sephora Italia (100 ml 27,50 euro)

• Sephora Targeted Eye Remover Swabs / Sephora Italia (20x 5,90 euro)

I like all the products I've been trying so far.

I'm using the Clarins' cleanser even now on vacation, because it's gentle and it doesn't effect my tanning.

Remember to scrub body and face even during your seaside vacation, otherwise all the dead skin will make your bronzy color become greysh and disgusting!

The Clinique's scrub it's pretty intense, but not aggressive at all, I used it before leaving for Sicily to prep my skin for the hot sun. I will be definitively reusing it next autumn/winter season.

Even the Clarins' mask is very nice, it's purifying without drying the skin and it has a reasonable price which is always a plus.

I still haven't tried the Sephora's eye makeup remover swabs, which are perfect to delete every eyeliner mistake, but it's just because when it's hot I don't feel like putting on loads of makeup, I will try them for sure when the weather will be more chilly and I will be in the mood for makeup again.

As soon as I try them I will let you know what I think about them.

Mi sto trovando bene con tutti i prodotti che ho acquistato, il detergente di Clarins lo continuo ad usare anche adesso che sono in vacanza, è molto delicato e non porta via l'abbronzatura. 

Comunque è sempre importante farsi degli scrub, sia al viso che al corpo, anche durante l'estate, altrimenti l'abbronzatura assumerà quel colore grigiastro dato dall'accumulo di cellule epiteliali morte che fa davvero un brutto effetto.

Lo scrub di Clinique è piuttosto intenso, ma non aggressivo, quindi l'ho utilizzato prima di partire per le vacanze, e sicuramente lo riutilizzerò quest'inverno senza esagerare.

Anche la maschera di Clarins mi è piaciuta, purifica senza seccare la pelle, ha un ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo.

Ancora non ho avuto modo di provare i cottonfioc di Sephora, quelli con all'interno lo struccante per rimediare ai classici errori da sbavatura da eyeliner etc, appena arriva il caldo io mi trucco decisamente meno e visto che sono partita prima che al nord si abbattesse la bufera, sono al caldo già da un bel po'! 

Appena li proverò vi saprò dire come mi trovo.

I'm so glad I purchased this box because it's simply amazing, it's full of deluxe size samples and I'm in love with them!

La Box De Louise (July)

I'm so sorry I'm not updating the blog very often, but as usual when I need to get everything ready before I leave for vacation my life becomes a total mess, I get super nervous and time just fly by like crazy.
Anyway I'm writing this post from beautiful Sicily, I will be talking about this amazing place very soon because I want to share with you guys all the amazing place I'm visiting and all the incredible food I'm eating (even if I should be on a diet right now... whatever!).
That's why I decided to bring with me my laptop and try to update the blog more frequently in this hot summer time.

My first summer post will be about La Box De Louise (I know it's available only in Italy but may want to check it out as well to see some new products) that arrived at the beginning of july and I'm able to write a post about it only now... shame on me!
Let's have a look at the inside:

Scusate il ritardo e anche l'assenza, ma come al solito quando parto per le vacanze mi riduco all'ultimo secondo e non riesco mai a fare le cose con calma.

Vi scrivo dalla stupenda Sicilia, a cui dedicherò sicuramente dei post per farvi vedere i luoghi che amo di più, e ho deciso di portare con me il caro fidato laptop per aggiornare più spesso il blog anche durante l'arsura estiva!

Il primo post delle vacanze riguarda La Box De Louise, questa è la terza box che ho acquistato, è arrivata puntualissima all'inizio di luglio e io ve ne riesco a parlare con calma solo adesso...
Passiamo a vedere il contenuto della box di luglio:

I must say that this box is really rich and interesting, but I also must say that I'm really picky when it comes to choose sunscreen lotions, and I tell you why.

I have a super sensitive fair skin, that's why I choose lotion with high SPF and I rarely use oil or self tanning products.

I choose lotions with no peculiar smell, or at least with a really soft one because I get bored of heavy nuances very quickly and usually they give me headache.

In my lipstick collection you will never find a brown pearlescent shade, it really doesn't suite me and it make me look like an old grandma.

With that being said, you will understand why this box is nice, but sadly not right for me as far as concerns the lotions.

I do really like though the little fuchsia clutch, which I bring with me every day at the beach to protect my belongings from the sand and the lovely bracelet, I love the color, I think it's perfect for the summer.

Will we meet again in september Box De Louise? Only time can tell!

Premetto che il contenuto di questa box è davvero corposo, quindi sicuramente una box interessante e ricca.

Detto questo devo ammettere che io sono particolarmente schizzinosa riguardo ai solari, e vi dico perchè.

Ho una carnagione chiarissima, quindi prediligo fattori protettivi molto alti e rarissimamente utilizzo oli o lozioni abbronzanti.

Scelgo le creme anche in base al loro profumo che non dev'essere troppo aggressivo, preferisco qualcosa di tenue e delicato, gli odori forti, anche se buoni, mi stancano in fretta e nel peggiore dei casi mi fanno venire mal di testa.

Nella mia collezione di rossetti i toni sul marrone perlato sono banditi, su di me stanno malissimo, effetto signora di una certa età garantito...

Potete trarre voi le conclusioni, box bella, ma non adatta a me per quanto riguarda i cosmetici.

Invece ho davvero apprezzato sia la mini clutch in silicone fucsia che porto con me in spiaggia per tenere al riparo cellulare chiavi etc., che il braccialetto verde acqua con perline di vetro colorato e cotone intrecciato che è davvero carinissimo.

Box De Louise ci rivedremo a settembre? Solo il tempo ce lo dirà.

QVC Today Special Value: Bare Minerals Gorgeous Glowing

Few weeks ago I ordered a Today Special Value on QVC Italy (if you want to have a look on all my QVC orders you can find them here, and everything I bought by Bare Minerals here), it was all about Bare Minerals make up and as usual it was an amazing deal.

It's the Gorgeous Glowing kit, 7 products, some just released and some famous best sellers.

These are all the products:

Qualche settimana fa ho approfittato di un Today Special Value firmato Bare Minerals (se volete saperne di più sui miei acquisti QVC li trovate qui, e alcuni prodotti Bare Minerals qui), come sempre il rapporto prezzo qualità sembrava davvero ottimo quindi non me lo sono lasciata sfuggire.

Si tratta del kit Gorgeous Glowing di Bare Minerals, ben 7 prodotti, alcuni sono appena usciti e alcuni sono famosi best seller di Bare Minerals.

Questo è il contenuto del kit:

• Original SPF 15 Foundation (8 g) in Light

•  Ready Color Boost in The Adrenaline Rush (9,5 g) 

•  Lasting Line Long-Wearing Eyeliner in Lasting Brown (0,35 g)

•  Lash Domination 10-in-1 Volumizing Mascara in Intense Black (11 ml)

•  5-in-1 BB Advanced Performance Cream Eyeshadow SPF 15 in Barely Nude (3 ml)

•  Marvelous Moxie Lip Gloss in Rock Star (4,5 ml) 

I've always wanted to try the mineral foundation, I was a bit worried by choosing the right shade for me, since I'm fair, but sometimes a super fair foundation can make me appear like a ghost.

I went for the shade Light and I'm really happy with it. 

It's buildable, you can layer more product to achieve more coverage, but you can also go for a more natural look by using just a tiny bit of mineral powder.

It doesn't break me up, and I really like the result on me.

The second product is very interesting, it's a face palette with bronzer, blush and highlighter. It comes with a brush that you can use to pick up the products separately.

As you can see from the swatches, the highlighter kinda disappear on my skin, which to me is a good thing, because since I've fair oily skin I always struggle to find the right product for my skin type.

Then we have three eyes products, a dark brow eyeliner, an intense volumizing black mascara and a new eyeshadow/primer that can be used on its own or as a base.

The last product is a lip gloss, a marvelous moxie, with the typical minty-vanilla flavor. It's not too sticky, taste nice and the peachy color is just perfect for the summer time.

Buying all the products separately the price would be approximately 168 euros, but with the TSV (on QVC Italy) I got it for 44,95 euros, a nice deal!

Volevo provare il fondotinta minerale da secoli, ero un po' preoccupata dalla scelta della giusta tonalità visto che ho la pelle molto chiara, ma i fondotinta troppo chiari mi fanno sembrare un fantasma.

Ho scelto la variante Light e mi trovo davvero benissimo. La coprenza si può "costruire" sovrapponendo più strati di prodotto, uniforma il viso, illumina e soprattutto per il momento non ho avuto reazioni negative, non ho riscontrato nessun aumento di imperfezioni e brufoli, quindi sono molto contenta.

Il secondo prodotto davvero interessante è una palette che contiene al suo interno bronzer, blush e illuminante. Si utilizza un pennello, che si trova nel kit, che consente di prelevare i tre prodotti singolarmente. 

Da come si vede negli swatches l'illuminante è dell'esatto colore della mia pelle, quindi quasi scompare, il che però a mio avviso è sicuramente un plus, perchè avendo la pelle mista faccio fatica a trovarne uno che non peggiori la situazione.

Passiamo poi agli occhi con tre prodotti molto validi, un eyeliner marrone scuro, scrivente, facile da applicare, dotato di sfumino e temperino; un mascara nero intenso effetto ciglia finte e un prodotto nuovissimo, un ombretto/primer che uniforma la palpebra e può essere utilizzato sia da solo che come base.

Nel kit non poteva mancare il gloss, marvelous moxie, al sapore di menta e vaniglia. Mi piace molto, non è particolarmente appiccicoso, ha un buon sapore e il color pesca è perfetto per l'estate.

Il prezzo stimato per l'acquisto singolo di ogni prodotto era di circa 168 euro, acquistando il kit con il TSV il prezzo è sceso drasticamente a 44,95 euro, a mio parere un vero affare!

Sul sito di QVC lo trovate ancora a prezzo di lancio, io non me lo lascerei scappare!
