What's in my Glossy Box?

This month's Glossy Box arrived yesterday, the theme is Modern Romance.

This time there is no card with all the info about products and prices, it will be put on their website and send by email.

I don't know if it's an unexpected eco friendly need, or just a way to save some money, because also the cardboard box in which the box is shipped has no longer the Glossy Box logo printed on, it's just plain cardboard which feels a little cheap.

I think the card was useful, it helped me with researching the products and comparing the prices, but it's not essential to me since we have internet.

That's what I found inside:

E' arrivata ieri la Glossy Box, il tema di questo mese è Modern Romance.

Questa volta manca la cartolina informativa che verrà pubblicata successivamente sul sito o inviata per email. 

Non so se interpretare questa scelta come un'improvvisa ispirazione eco friendly o un taglio di costi, in quanto anche la scatola di cartone in cui viene spedita la box da un po' di mesi non è più monogrammata, e diciamo sembra un po' meno elegante. 

Per me la cartolina era molto utile per verificare i prodotti all'interno, il loro prezzo etc., ma non indispensabile, visto che abbiamo internet.

Ecco il contenuto della box:

1) Korres Little Shampoo Aloe and Soapwort (30ml)

2) Alessandro Snowflake  hand cream (30ml)

3) Jelly Pong Pong Irish cream pavlova Lip frosting (15ml)

4) Emite Make Up Micro eyeshadow in Nect (1,48 gr) 

5) Nails Inc. Caviar Topcoat (10 ml)

Overall I think this box is nice, it doesn't have the wow effect I was expecting for, but I can't even complain about it. 

I would have preferred to receive something else instead of shampoo and hand cream (I've collected so many since I subscribed to Glossy Box!), but the other products are interesting and useful. 

I'm looking forward the Christmas box, I hope they will surprise us with some cool make up!

Questa box mi è piaciuta, non sono rimasta sconvolta dal suo contenuto, ma non mi posso nemmeno lamentare. Avrei potuto fare a meno dello shampoo e della crema per le mani (ne ho collezionate tantissime dall'inizio del mio abbonamento con Glossy Box), ma in sè i prodotti sono carini e interessanti. 

Spero nella Glossy natalizia, che ci sorprendano con un po di make up sostanzioso!

Cioccoshow 2013

So finally winter has come and that's why I decided to share with you the pics I took at the Cioccoshow ninth edition that took place in Bologna, 13th-17th November.

There were so many stands, even if last year all the controversies about it made us think that we would have miss it this year.

I couldn't miss all this deliciousness, but I preferred to take photos instead of devouring everything (I'm a greedy monster). I "only" got some macaroons, which I'm addicted to, and some strawberry drowned in melted choccolate, but since it was fruit I felt like I was being on diet :P

Visto il freddo che imperversa ho pensato di condividere con voi le foto che ho fatto durante la nona edizione del Cioccoshow che si è tenuta a Bologna dal 13 al 17 novembre.

Gli stand erano davvero tanti, nonostante le polemiche dell'anno scorso che ci avevano fatto temere la mancata riproposizione di questo evento super goloso e super atteso da tutta Bologna e dintorni.

Io ovviamente non potevo perdermi tutta questa bontà, ma sapendo di rischiare un'indigestione cosmica ho preferito fotografare la maggiorparte delle leccornie esposte piuttosto che divorarle. Mi sono concessa dei macarons, a cui davvero non so resistere, e delle fragole inondate da cioccolato fuso, ma visto che di base era frutta mi è sembrato di stare quasi a dieta :P

Cupcakes Day at Coccinelle

Coccinelle organized some special events in some of their stores all around Italy in collaboration with Cupcake and Co. Italia, two italian bakers (brother and sister) that in their american bakery lab in Brescia create paistries, cakes, cupcakes and all the sweets you may think of for every special occasion.

I was so happy when I found out that one of the meetings, actually the last appointment with "bag" cupcakes, would have been in Bologna, via Ugo Bassi store.

Coccinelle bags (just love them!) and cupcakes it's simply the perfect combination, I wouldn't have lost this opportunity for anything!

The store was all decorated with tons of delicious and colorful sweets.

The two bakers were garnishing every cupcake you asked for with little tiny mini bags made of sugar paste or other lovely decorations.

During this event I made some pics of the bakers' creations and also of my favourite bags in store I want to share with you.

Coccinelle ha organizzato una serie di tappe golose in collaborazione con Cupcake and Co. Italia, un duo di giovani pasticceri italiani (sono fratello e sorella) che dal loro laboratorio di pasticceria americana propongono le loro creazioni per ogni evento ed occasione.

Per fortuna una delle mete di questo tour iniziato il 23 ottobre è stata Bologna, nel negozio di via Ugo Bassi si è conclusa questa serie di appuntamenti dedicati ai "bag" cupcakes.

La combinazione borse di Coccinelle (che io adoro da sempre basta vedere qui) e cupcakes deliziosi è stata semplicemente perfetta, io ovviamente non potevo perdermi un pomeriggio così divertente.

Il negozio era tutto decorato da alzate ricolme di leccornie varie, tutte colorate ed invitanti. 

I due pasticceri guarnivano a richiesta il cupcake desiderato con minuscole borsine in pasta di zucchero o con altre decorazioni sempre a tema.

Durante l'evento ho scattato alcune foto dei pasticceri all'opera e delle borse in negozio che mi hanno colpito di più.
