Yankee Candle store in Bologna

Recently a Yankee Candle Store opened in one of the most popular shopping street in Bologna. This famous scented candles american brand is finally here and I had to go and have a closer look!
The shopping windows are all Halloween decorated, but the whole Christmas atmosphere is coming very soon and I can't wait because Christmas is definitely one of my favourite time of the year!
All Yankee Candles have amazing scents, inspired by seasons or maybe by a specific holiday theme, and also by everyday things like clean cotton smell or delicious sweet treats, and they create a cozy and lovely atmosphere in every place.

In una delle vie dello shopping bolognese ha aperto recentemente uno Yankee Store, famosissimo brand americano di candele profumate, e ovviamente non potevo non andare a curiosare!

Le vetrine sono decorate per l'imminente festa di Halloween, ma presto sarà dominante l'atmosfera natalizia e io non vedo l'ora perchè è uno dei periodi più belli dell'anno!

Le Yankee Candles hanno delle fragranze particolari, che si ispirano oltre che alle stagioni o alle feste, anche alle cose di tutti i giorni, come il profumo del cotone pulito o di dolci squisiti e riescono a rendere ogni ambiente speciale e confortevole.

Guerlain Terracotta La Selection De L'Eté

Sometimes I buy something only because it has a beautiful packaging, and sometimes the quality is not great as I expected. 

It's because the packaging to me is like mermaids for Ulysses, I'm uncosciously attracted.

This time we have a product that has it all, the amazing packaging and the high quality.

The famous Terracotta by Guerlain becomes a palette for face and eyes, with a bronzer which has both a lighter and a darker shade, and four eyeshadows really pigmented and intense.

It comes in a soft and velvety package with a brush for the bronzer and one mini sponge brush to apply the eyeshadows.
I'm more into bronzer after this summer, since I want to keep an healthy glow on my face, without exaggerating because my skin is super fair, and this palette is just perfect for me.
I love the eyeshadows, so intense, perfect for a day look but also for a night out, depending on which shade you choose to apply and how you combine them.

The price in Italy is 49 euros.

E' inutile negare che certe volte la bellezza della confezione mi fa acquistare cose che poi magari non sono all'altezza. Perchè il packaging su di me ha lo stesso effetto delle sirene per Ulisse, ne sono attratta in modo quasi inconsapevole. 

Ecco qui ad un packaging superbo corrisponde anche un'ottima qualità del prodotto. 

La famosissima Terracotta di Guerlain si trasforma in una palette che racchiude un bronzer con due tonalità una più chiara ed una più scura per un contouring perfetto, e quattro ombretti davvero pigmentati e scriventi. 

La palette è racchiusa in una custodia di velluto con una tasca che contiene un pennello piuttosto ampio per applicare il bronzer ed un altro pennellino di spugna per gli ombretti.
Ho iniziato ad utilizzare la terra da quest'estate, per continuare ad avere un colorito sano, senza esagerare visto che ho una pelle chiarissima e queste tonalità per me sono perfette.
Gli ombretti sono bellissimi, i colori intensi perfetti sia per un look da giorno sia per la sera utilizzando le due tonalità più scure.

Il costo della palette è di 49 euro.

Too Faced Pretty Rebel

Recently, since I had a Sephora discount laying in my drawer, I went and  bought this limited edition Pretty Rebel palette by Too Faced, almost because I've heard so many beauty gurus raving about it.
When I saw it I made some swatches on my hand to test it and in that moment I knew it had to be mine!
The packaging as usual is gorgeous, but the best part are defenitively the eyeshadows, so bright and intense.
This palette has 12 new eyeshadows with different finish, 2 matte, 1 glitter and 5 shimmer. The colours range allows you to create different looks, but I guess that the true sense of this palette is to break some rules and be a little more edgy and having some fun with the colours.
The one I think it's very interesting it's definitely "girly", which is a duocrome, with two mixed shades, that turns out like a coppery rusty brownish red with green reflex, so peculiar.
All the eyeshadows are very intense and pigmented, but I do prefer to use an eye primer before anyway.
The palette comes with a mini instruction booklet that teaches you how to create three looks, it's very useful to me and it also gives me the inspiration to try out new colours.
This palette is nice and versatile, I really like it!

Recentemente ho approfittato di un buono sconto di Sephora per acquistare questa palette limited edition della Too Faced, soprattutto perché ne avevo sentito parlare molto bene dalle varie gurus oltreoceano. 

Quando l'ho vista da Sephora e l'ho provata facendo alcuni swatches sulla mano ho capito che doveva essere mia!

Il packaging come al solito è davvero accattivante, ma mi hanno colpito soprattutto i colori e la loro intensità.

Si tratta di 12 ombretti nuovi con diversi finish, 2 matte, uno glitter e 5 shimmer. Le tonalità presenti permettono di creare look differenti, ma immagino che il vero senso di questa palette stia nel provare ad esagerare un po', a rompere gli schemi dei soliti nude look con un pizzico di colore vibrante.

Il colore che trovo davvero nuovo è sicuramente "girly", un ombretto duocrome che si compone appunto di due tonalità differenti e sovrapposte, per ottenere un ruggine dai riflessi verdi, davvero particolare.

Tutti gli ombretti sono intensi e pigmentati, comunque preferisco utilizzare un primer sulle palpebre prima di applicarli.
Nella confezione troverete anche un mini libretto di istruzioni per ricreare 3 look, cosa che trovo davvero utile e divertente, perchè se come me non vi avventurate spesso tra i colori accesi avere una fonte di ispirazione serve a rompere un po' il ghiaccio e provare cose nuove.
In conclusione palette bella e versatile, mi piace molto!

What's in my Glossy Box?

This Glossy Box Beauty Balance arrived yesterday, but I had no time to take a closer look so it's the first thing I did this morning. Let see what's inside.

E' arrivata ieri la Glossy Box beauty Balance, ma non ho fatto in tempo a guardarla con calma, quindi è la prima cosa che ho fatto questa mattina. Vediamo cosa c'è dentro.

1) SMINK crack nail polish n. 8 (15 ml)

2) Skinetica anti-blemish 

3) Kryolan HD Cream Liner Ebony (6 g)

4) Balance Me limited edition shine on tinted lip salve super soft beige (10 ml)

5) Bellàpierre Volumizing Mascara black (9 ml)

The box is nice, all the products are interesting and I will definitively use them. The only negative side is the nail polish colour. I've always wanted to try the crakle finish, but I've never got any nail polish to recreate that effect, so this one would have been perfect if ... it wasn't white! I've tried it on after putting a coat of blue and the result was awful. It's not wearable, it simply doesn't look good, I may try with other colors, but I guess I won't change my mind.

I'm curious to try the anti blemish solution, since my skin has this type of issue and it's not that easy to find products that actually can solve the problem.

Usually the eyeliner application is a nightmare even for beauty gurus and make up artists and Ive never even try it! This time I must challenge myself trying this Kryolan HD eyeliner and honestly I can't wait!

Being a huge lip balm addicted, I was very happy to get another one. It's very sheer son don't pay attention to the word "tinted" on it. It leaves the lips shiny and moisturized, and it has a nice minty flavour.

I've already had the chance to try the mascara by Bellapierre cause I received it in the special edition box for mother's day and I really liked it, it's a very good mascara.

Overall a very nice box, I'm only disappointed for the nail polish colour! 

La box mi piace, i prodotti sono tutti interessanti e li userò sicuramente. L'unico appunto che mi sento di fare riguarda il colore dello smalto. Volevo da sempre provare l'effetto crakle, ma non ho mai acquistato uno smalto per ottenere questo effetto, quindi questo prodotto per me sarebbe stato davvero azzeccatissimo se ... non fosse stato bianco! L'ho provato su uno smalto scuro e sinceramente non è portabile, quindi è davvero un peccato! Avrei preferito uno smalto scuro e più diciamo elegante, perchè il risultato con quello bianco è tremendo a mio parere... Farò altre prove, ma dubito che cambierò idea.

Per quanto riguarda gli altri prodotti sono curiosa di provare la soluzione anti-blemish visto che la mia pelle soffre spesso di questi problemi e trovare prodotti adatti non è sempre così facile.

Saper applicare l'eyeliner è uno dei punti deboli di tutte le beauty gurus e make up artists e io non ci ho mai nemmeno provato, anche se ho visto mille tutorial su come usarlo. Quindi sono costretta ad impegnarmi e provare ad usare questo eyeliner della Kryolan e sinceramente non vedo l'ora!

Essendo una grande fan dei lip balm riceverne uno mi ha fatto sicuramente piacere. L'effetto è trasparente, quindi sorvolerei sul "tinted" che si trova scritto sulla confezione. Lascia le labbra idratate e lucide ed ha un sapore di menta davvero buono.

Il mascara di Bellapierre l'ho già ricevuto con la box speciale per la festa della mamma, è un buon prodotto e mi piace molto l'effetto che da.

Nel complesso una box molto carina, peccato solo per lo smalto bianco!

What's in my Glossy Box?

The Glossy Box Sugar and Spice arrived this morning, it's all inspired by fall colour and scents.

Everybody had high expectation for this box, also because the latest boxes were really nice, and I've to say this box really impressed me!

Arrivata fresca fresca stamattina la Glossy Sugar and Spice, ispirata agli aromi e alle nuance autunnali.

Le aspettative erano decisamente alte, visto il trend positivo delle ultimissime box e devo dire che questa box mi ha veramente colpito! 

Curiose??? Andiamo a vedere cosa ho trovato:

This box is amazing! Probably the best one since I've subscribed!

So many make up products, all nice and useful, and the eyelash curler is definitively the biggest surprise. It's such an useful tool, but usually very expensive, good one Glossy Team!

Questa box è davvero bella! Probabilmente la più bella da quando mi sono abbonata! 

Tantissimi prodotti make up e tutti belli e utili, sicuramente il piegaciglia è stata la sorpresa più grande. E' uno strumento utile, ma spesso costoso, quindi inserirlo nella box è stata una scelta azzeccatissima. Anche questa volta complimenti al Glossy Team!
