bareMinerals: The Star Treatment Eyeshadow Palette

I saw this bareMinerals eyeshadow palette in a Clio Makeup video and it really caught my attention.

The colors are amazing, golds, bronzes and even greens. Most of them have a metallic finish, some of them have golden glitters, to me they are perfect for a hot summer look, if summer finally decides to arrive in Italy as well!

Ho visto questa palette di bareMinerals in un video di Clio Makeup e mi ha colpito subito.

I colori sono stupendi, metallizzati, alcuni glitterati, sui toni dell'oro, del bronzo e del verde, mi sembrano perfetti per un look estivo, sempre che il caldo si degni di arrivare!

The eight colors in the palette are in order:

VIP, CONNOSEUR, CARTE BLANCHE, RITZY, KUDOS, BRAGGING RIGHTS, ELITIST, ESTRAVAGANCE.

They are well pigmented and I really like em all.

Sono molto pigmentati e mi piacciono davvero tutti!

The palette comes with an eyeshadow primer wich I still haven't tried out (I'm a Primer Potion addicted).

bareMinerals products have always great quality, I've started using them not so long ago but till now I'm really satisfied. 

Here in Italy you can find them at Sephora or on Qvc.

Il kit contiene anche un primer occhi che devo ancora provare (sono troppo affezionata al Primer Potion).

I prodotti della bareMinerals sono sempre di ottima qualità, ho iniziato da poco ad usarli, ma fino ad ora mi sono sempre trovata bene.

Bellàpierre Get the Look Kit Deep Ocean

I've already heard about this make up brand, so when I found their stand at Cosmoprof here in bologna I went to get some more info about them. 

Usually at Cosmoprof  few stands sell products, Bellàpierre was one of them and they had pretty nice deals to offer, just like this Get The Look Kit (sold for 39 euros on the website and just 20 euros at Cosmopfrof).

I chose the Deep Ocean version, but you can get in many other colors, like nudes, greens and purples.

Inside the kit we find:

- 3 mineral eyeshadow (Noire, Marrone, Ginger-Blonde)

- a shadow base

- two professional brushes (one eyeshadow brush and an eyeliner brush)

- instructions to recreate the Deep Ocean look

I'm really curious to try out all these products to get a more precise idea of this brand, even if I've already heard a lot of good stuff about them.

I really like the whole concept of a natural make up, perfect for any skin type. The website talk about a 100% pure pigment colors, it's all mineral and natural, so this make up doen't effect the skin in any negative way, amazing uh?

Avevo già sentito parlare di questo brand di make up, quindi quando ho trovato lo stand al Cosmoprof sono andata a informarmi meglio. Di solito al Cosmoprof pochissimi stand vendono i loro prodotti, ma per fortuna Bellàpierre era uno di questi e aveva delle offerte davvero interessanti, come ad esempio questo kit a metà prezzo (sul sito lo trovate a 39 euro, io l'ho avuto per 20 euro).

Il Get The Look Kit che ho scelto è il Deep Ocean, ma ci sono altre versioni dai toni nude, ai verdi e ai viola, ma io ero in vena di blu e sfumature quindi questo mi ha colpito subito.

All'interno del kit troviamo:

- 3 ombretti minerali (Noire, Marrone, Ginger-Blonde)

- una base per ombretto

- due pennelli professionali in fibra naturale (uno per applicare l'ombretto, uno per applicare il prodotto come un eyeliner)

- le istruzioni per ricreare il look Deep Ocean

Sono davvero curiosa di provare tutti i prodotti per farmi un'idea più precisa di questo brand, che comunque è già conosciuto e valutato positivamente. 

Mi piace moltissimo l'idea di un make up con prodotti naturali, adatti quindi a tutti i tipi di pelle, il sito parla appunto di pigmenti di puro colore al 100%, senza additivi di alcun genere, davvero interessante!

Yves Saint Laurent Y Facettes Palette

This Yves Saint Laurent eyeshadow palette from the 2013 spring collection really caught my attention, the colors (Malachite, Fluorite, Amethyst, Azurite) are amazing, just perfect for a summer make up look. They can be used dry or wet for a more vivid and intense result. 

Inside the palette we find two sponge applicators, but they usually don't work for me so I don't think I will use them.

I bought this palette in a Coin store (italian store) and I got a YSL coin purse with an inside mirror, so pretty!

Puntavo questa palette di ombretti della collezione primaverile di Yves Saint Laurent da un po' di tempo, i colori (Malachite, Fluorite, Amethyst, Azurite) sono bellissimi, mi sembrano ideali per un make up estivo. 

Si possono usare sia asciutti sia bagnati per un effetto ancora più intenso, nella confezione ci sono già gli applicatori, ma io non mi trovo mai bene con questi pennellini in spugna, quindi penso che non li utilizzerò. 

Ho acquistato questa palette da Coin e mi hanno dato in omaggio questo portamonete con specchio firmato YSL davvero carino.

Glossy Box mother's day

Glossy Box for Mother's day arrived this morning. 

First impressions? I'd love to receive box like this every months!

The packaging is really cute with the purple bow and butterflies on the decorating paper, love it!

Arrivata stamattina la Glossy Box per la festa della mamma. 

Prime impressioni? Vorrei ricevere ogni mese una box così! 

Il packaging come sempre è davvero carino, un bel nastro viola e la carta decorata con tante farfalle, bello!

I really like this box, most of the products are makeup, defenitely a plus, and they are very interesting. 

I already new some of the brands I found inside the box (Bellaperre) and I'm really curious to try the other new ones, from the swatches I've done they seem pretty good!

Questa box mi è piaciuta moltissimo, i prodotti sono quasi tutti make up e sono davvero interessanti. Alcune marche le conoscevo già (vedi Bellapierre) e le altre sono molto curiosa di provarle, ma già dagli swatches mi sembrano all'altezza!

Urban Decay: let's get NAKED...again!

Finally I've found them! Mission impossible in Bologna became possible in Rome.

I'm talking about the two famous "daughters" of the even more famous Naked and Naked 2 palettes, the Naked Basics and the naked Flushed, but first things first.

Finalmente sono riuscita a trovarle, missione impossibile a Bologna, quindi ho approfittato del mio ultimo viaggetto a Roma per accaparrarmele!

Stiamo parlando delle due famose "figlie" delle ancor più famose palette Naked e Naked 2 (la mia review la trovate qui), la Naked basics e la Naked Flushed. ma andiamo con ordine.

The Naked Basics it's a six eyeshadow palette, then what makes it special? The fact that five of them are completely matte! The only one with a light satin finish is Venus, wich is perfect for highliting.

The colors are neutral and can be used for an every day look or combined with some other more intense shades to complete and define the make up.

It's also tiny and compact, perfect to travel with or to carry in you purse for a last minut retouch.

La Naked Basics è una palette di sei ombretti, ma cos'ha di speciale? Il fatto che siano praticamente tutti matte! L'unico con un lieve tocco satinato è Venus, perfetto da usare come illuminante.

Si tratta di colori neutri da utilizzare per un look da tutti i giorni, oppure da abbinare con altri colori più intensi per completare e perfezionare il trucco.
Così piccola e compatta è perfetta da portare con sè in viaggio o anche in borsa per un ritocco dell'ultimo minuto.

The Naked Flushed it's so smart because it has three beauty essential in one: bronzer, highlighter and blush. It should work  for most of the skin tones since it's not possible to choose a different type of colors. So if you, just like me, have very fair skink be carefull and apply less product and don't forget to blend it. 

As I said for the Basics Palette, it's very handy and practical.

La Naked Flushed è fantastica perchè contiene tre diversi prodotti must have tutti insieme: terra, illuminante e blush. Si dovrebbe adattare un po' a tutti gli incarnati, visto che non è possibile scegliere tra diverse tonalità, se, come me, avete la pelle molto chiara andateci leggere, prelevate poco di ogni prodotto e sfumate molto.
Inutile ribadire la praticità e la funzionalità di questa palette.
