WAITING FOR COSMOPROF | MAKE UP FOR EVER - LA TRUCCHERIA

The countdown to Cosmoprof Bologna 2017 has already started.

If you have no clue of what I'm talking about, Cosmoprof is a huge event that take place in Bologna (Italy) but also in Las Vegas and Honk Kong and it's focused all on 360° beauty.

Last year I wrote a quick guide about how to survive these four days of madness and take the best of it and I also wrote about my experience (day 1, day 2) visiting most of the stands, but this time I'm going to do things a little bit different.

I will try to cover all the brands I usually visit every year and that will be at Cosmoprof Bologna 2017, to give you some useful info and some kind of preview.

Let's start with a brand that i consider a Cosmoprof institution, Make Up For Ever.

Here in Bologna we have La Truccheria, which is a MUFE flagship store in Italy, but also a MUFE Academy, where to actually learn how to become a MUA.

The MUFE stand is always so packed with people, because they also sell all the products with amazing discounts (to 40% off).
Talented MUAS work on models to create so many incredible looks which to me are definitely work of art, I spend so much time observing them and taking picture because I'm just mesmerized by their talent.
This year, which is Cosmoprof Bologna fifty anniversary, they will have a 200 mq stand outside pavillion 22, it's going to be huge!
Many MUAS will perform on stage supervised by the art director Gabriele Brunelli.
There will be the shop corner as well where to buy all the makeup, I will definitely write a post about what I got in the past and my favorite MUFE products, so stay tuned!

Manca davvero poco alla manifestazione dedicata alla bellezza a 360° che si tiene ogni anno qui a Bologna, ma anche a Las Vegas ed Honk Kong, sto parlando ovviamente del Cosmoprof.

L'anno scorso ho preparato una guida con tutti i consigli per affrontare al meglio questo vero e proprio tour de force e poi vi ho raccontato la mia esperienza (giorno 1, giorno 2), ma quest'anno vorrei giocare d'anticipo e parlarvi degli stand che visito regolarmente ogni anno e che troveremo anche in questa cinquantesima edizione.

Cominciamo con un brand che ritengo un'istituzione del Cosmoprof Bologna, Make Up For Ever.

Proprio a Bologna La Truccheria è una delle sedi della Make Up For Ever Academy, quindi non solo un negozio dove comprare i prodotti MUFE, ma anche una vera e propria scuola per MUA.

Lo stand della Truccheria al Cosmoprof è sempre preso d'assalto perchè all'interno trovate tutti i prodotti MUFE fino al 40% di sconto.

Inoltre i MUA si mettono all'opera ed ogni giornata del Cosmoprof truccando dei modelli/e in maniera incredibile, passo davvero tanto tempo ad osservarli e fotografarli perchè sono delle vere opere d'arte.

Quest'anno in occasione della cinquantesima edizione del Cosmoprof, La Truccheria Make Up For Ever avrà una tensostruttura di duecento metri quadrati tutta dedicata, adiacente al padiglione 22.

Ci sarà un palco su cui si esibiranno gli allievi del corso intensivo della MUFE Academy, seguiti dal direttore artistico Gabriele Brunelli.

Ovviamente non mancherà lo shop dove fare scorta dei vostri prodotti MUFE preferiti, pubblicherò sicuramente un post su quello che ho acquistato in passato e sui prodotti di cui non posso fare a meno, quindi stay tuned!

NEW LA TRUCCHERIA-MUFE STAND at COSMOPROF 2017

MUFE NEW ARTIST ROUGE | La Truccheria

Recently MUFE relaunched and revamped their lipstick range with the Artist Rouge, new formula and an incredible range of colors.
I'm lucky enough to have a flagship store in my city (Bologna), which is called La Truccheria and it's also a MUFE Accademy (where you can train to become a certified Mua), and that's why I got to partecipate to the new Rouge Artist launch.
I'm very recognizable at this type of event, because after swaching products over and over again I always look like I just finished a body painting session!
But let's focus on these new lipsticks.
There are 46 shades, each one is classified with a letter (M=Matte, C=Créme) and a number.
MUFE developed a new technology, so the pigments are refined three times to guarantee maximum color impact, and since the pigments are combined with  transparent oil they come out pure and unalterated.
They actually used specific waxes to increase the lipsticks' lasting power, candelilla for matte shades (they should last 10 hours) and sunflower seeds for the creamy ones (they should last up to 8 hours).
In the formula there are as well macadamia and mallow oils, perfect to hydrate and prevent dryness, or Sahara desert as I use to call it.
The packaging is very sleek, it combines matte black and bright silver, and the lipstick bullet shape it's perfect for a smooth and precise application, you could even skip the lip pencil.
MUFE teamed up with the popular Swedish duo Icona Pop and collaborated to create two limited edition shades inspired by the band elekro punk sound, C 603 edgy blue and M 401 classic red.

Recentemente la MUFE ha rilanciato i suoi rossetti Artist Rouge, con una formulazione tutta nuova ed un'incredibile selezione di colori.

Ho la fortuna di avere nella mia città un loro punto vendita esclusivo, La Truccheria, che è anche Accademy (la loro scuola per diventare Mua certificati) e ho così potuto partecipare all'evento dedicato ai nuovissimi Artist Rouge lipsticks.

Io mi faccio sempre riconoscere, perchè sono quella che fa swatches di tutto a ripetizione e a fine serata sembro appena uscita da una seduta di body painting.

Ma concentriamoci su questi bellissimi rossetti.

Ci sono 46 tonalità tutte contraddistinte da una M (Matte) o una C (Créme) che identificano il finish del rossetto.

Grazie ad un processo di tripla raffinazione, i pigmenti del colore risultano incredibilmente vividi, ed essendo miscelati con un olio trasparente si mantengono puri, inalterati. 

La durata è amplificata grazie all'utilizzo di cere particolari, la candelilla per i rossetti opachi  (per cui MUFE promette una durata di 10 ore) e semi di girasole per i rossetti cremosi (per cui MUFE promette una durata di 8 ore).

All'interno dei rossetti troviamo anche olio di malva e olio di macadamia, che idratano le labbra e ne prevengono la secchezza, o l'effetto siccità come dico io.

Il packaging combina il nero satinato al metallo, semplice ma d'impatto, la forma del rossetto così smussata permette un'applicazione molto precisa, si potrebbe quasi fare a meno della matita.

Testimone d'eccezione per i nuovi Artist Rouge è il duo svedese Icona Pop, che hanno creato in collaborazione con MUFE due rossetti in edizione limitata che rappresentano il loro stile elektro punk: C 603 un blu eccentrico e M 401 un rosso classico.

MAKE UP FOR EVER HOLIDAYS SETS

Recently I've received Make Up For Ever Holidays Sets press kit, all the product will be available in Italy in november, in my city Bologna they will be available at La Truccheria, the only MUFE flagship store in Italy.

I think they are all very interesting sets, I like the fact they are very different from each other both on the products included and the price point.

The huge palette caught my eyes first, of course, the new MUFE eyeshadow formulation is to die for, they are so pigmented and buttery, the apply and blend effortlessly.

It's time for that Christmas wish list already!

Sono davvero tutti set molto interessanti, mi piace che siano molto diversificati, sia per quanto riguarda il contenuto che per il prezzo.

Ovviamente ho già adocchiato la palette di 15 ombretti, da quando sono stati riformulati gli Artist Shadows sono incredibili, pigmentatissimi, burrosi, si applicano e si sfumano con una facilità estrema.

Insomma è già il momento di creare una wish list natalizia!
