Sephora's Sales (part 1)

Here in Italy we usually don't have beauty sales, or at least it happens very rarely and once you find a bargain you definitively want to get your hands on it before it's gone!

I'm a huge fan of YSL's Vernis a Levrés, so when I saw some of them on sale on Sephora's italian website I was super excited (original price 28,50 euros, 21,50 euros on sale)!

I chose two shades:

• Rebel Nudes Rouge Pour Couture Vernis a Levres n. 103 Pink No Taboo
• Rebel Nudes Rouge Pour Couture Vernis a Levres n. 104 Fuchsia Tomboy

These lip lacquers have a very liquid texture, so I usually apply one coat wait for it to dry and then apply another one to intensify the result.

They have a nice opacity and they last pretty well without smudging or feeling dry on the lips.

After a while, if you eat or drink, they fade a little bit but you can still see the color on your lips. You just need to apply another coat to achieve again that vivid, bright and intense effect.

I must say that they are one of my favorite products, I've even worn one on my wedding day!

Ogni tanto succede, purtroppo raramente, che anche i prodotti beauty vadano in saldo.

Io ovviamente io non potevo farmi scappare le offerte di Sephora prezzi da urlo!

Sono una grande fan delle Vernis a Levrés di YSL, quindi ho subito colto l'occasione di prenderne due in offerta (prezzo originale 28,50 euro, 21,50 in saldo).

I colori che ho scelto sono:

Queste lacche per labbra hanno una consistenza piuttosto liquida, io di solito faccio una prima passata di colore, aspetto che si asciughi e ripasso una seconda volta intensificando il risultato.

Hanno un'ottima coprenza e durata, non seccano particolarmente le labbra e anche dopo aver mangiato e bevuto la tinta rimane.

Il colore non è più vivido come all'inizio, ma comunque si vede ancora, basta riapplicarne un altro strato per ottenere di nuovo quell'effetto vinilico lucido davvero bello.
Devo ammettere che sono tra i miei prodotti labbra preferiti, tanto che ne ho usato uno anche per il mio matrimonio!

Finally my nails are growing back, after almost a year of crappy looking hands, so I decided to try this kit by Ciaté, the Flower Manicure.

The idea is really cute, but you need a lot of patience and practice to realize a nice mani.

It seems to me that the top coat which you need to stick the little flowers to the nails, melt the nail polish beneath. It could be my mistake or the product is not working as good it should do, I'll let you know!

Anyway the price was very good, 8,40 euros instead of 22.

Finalmente le mie unghie sono ricresciute, dopo un anno di mani orribili e inguardabili, quindi ho deciso di provare questo kit di Ciaté per ottenere una Flower Manicure.

L'idea è davvero carina, per realizzarla però ci vuole molta pazienza. Bisogna prenderci un po' la mano, io per il momento ho combinato solo disastri, soprattutto perchè mi sembra che il top coat che serve per attaccare i fiorellini all'unghia sciolga un po' lo smalto sotto, quindi o non funziona o sbaglio qualcosa... non lo so, vi farò sapere! 

Comunque il prezzo era piuttosto invitante, da 22 euro a 8,40 euro.
