My hubby (aka the saint) was so nice to try to find them everywhere, since I'm sick and couldn't get out, and he actually managed to find all the shades!

We were really lucky because you can't pick the color since they look all the same and you find out only once you open the package.

I thought I would swatch them for you, since they're part of the latest YSL Rouge Pur Couture lipstick collection, and maybe you would like to see how they apply, before eventually buying the full size ones.

Mio marito (quel santo) è stato così carino da cercare praticamente in tutta Bologna ed è miracolosamente riuscito a trovare tutti i colori!

Cosa davvero inaspettata, perchè purtroppo non si possono scegliere, sono impacchettati in modo che non si riesca a vedere la tonalità del rossetto.

Ho pensato di farvi vedere gli swatches, visto che fanno parte dell'ultima collezione di rossetti YSL Rouge Pur Couture, e magari potrebbe esservi utile saperne di più, nel caso voleste acquistare il rossetto full size.

There is a nude, a bright orange red, a vivid fuchsia and a classic red.

They're soft and easy to apply, very pigmented and opaque, with satin finish and the the typical YSL scent.

They are gorgeous, of course, and I'm super happy to have and try them all!

Abbiamo un nude, un rosso arancio, un fuchsia e un rosso classico.

Sono morbidi e si stendono facilmente sulle labbra.

Sono tutti pigmentati e coprenti, caratterizzati dal tipico profumo dei prodotti YSL, sono morbidi e si stendono facilmente sulle labbra, il finish è satinato e lucido.

Inutile dire che sono davvero bellissimi e sono felicissima di aver trovato tutti i colori e di poterli provare!

Vado a leggermi Grazia con una buona tazza di the, e noi ci vediamo a prestissimo con un nuovo beauty post :)

CLINIQUE LIP POP

The whole Lip Pop situation arrived in Italy as well, I'm talking about the new Clinique Lip Pop Lipsticks that everyone is crazy for.

I used a 20% off coupon and I got tree shades from Sephora's website, I found quite hard to pick the right colors, but after watching a ton of swatches video I'm happy with the ones I got.
The first thing that sold me was the packaging, which is super cute, simple but stylish at the same time.
Half of it is the exact lipstick color, and the cap is silver, I've heard some girl using it like a mirror when they apply the lipstick, not sure about it.
They are so sleek and lovely I would like to collect them and show them all together on a shelf or something!

Anche io mi sono fatta contagiare dalla febbre Lip Pop, sto parlando dei nuovissimi rossetti di Clinique che negli ultimi tempi stanno davvero spopolando.

Ho approfittato del 20% da Sephora e ho acquistato sul loro sito web tre tonalità, non è stato facile sceglierle dal sito, anche se ho guardato non so quanti video swatches, comunque sono molto contenta dei colori che ho scelto.

La prima cosa che mi ha colpito è il packaging, davvero carinissimo, semplice, ma stiloso. 

Metà della confezione riporta l'esatto colore del rossetto, mentre il tappo è in metallo e secondo qualcuna può essere usato anche come specchio.

Sono carinissimi e viene davvero la voglia di collezionarli per esporli da qualche parte tutti insieme!

Passiamo ai tre colori che ho acquistato:

N. 02 BARE POP (Sephora USA/Sephora ITA)

N. 13 LOVE POP (Sephora USA/Sephora ITA)

N. 14 PLUM POP (Sephora USA/Sephora ITA)

I went for more neutral and portable colors, mainly because I tend to buy reds and fuchias (I have loads of this colors lipsticks).
They may look similar, but they are actually quite different colors.
Bare Pop it's a nude with pink undertone and a light golden shimmer.
Love Pop it's a burgundy pink with the same light golden shimmer.
Plum Pop that actually looks very similar to Love Pop, it's a pink with a hint of violet in it with no shimmer.
All the lipsticks have primer inside that should make the color stay put several hours. Honestly on me they last quite a lot, but not 8 hours.
They have a very creamy texture, they are super easy to apply, very pigmented and opaque, and maybe because of all that, they don't last like matte dryer lipsticks. 
Just like all the other Clinique products these lipsticks have no scent, I do love sweet vanilla smell, but I guess I prefer no scent over a bad strong one.
My verdict? I want to buy more!

Ho scelto delle tonalità molto portabili, soprattutto perchè tendo ad acquistare sempre gli stessi colori, rosso e fuchsia.

Anche se sembrano molto simili dalle foto sono in realtà tre colori diversi.

Bare Pop è un nude dal sottotono rosa con dei minuscoli glitter dorati che non si percepiscono sulle labbra, e sono piuttosto discreti. 

Love Pop è un rosa tendente al rosso, anche questo ha gli stessi impercettibili glitter dorati che regalano quella luce in più una volta applicato il rossetto.
Plum Pop può sembrare molto simile a Love Pop, ma in realtà è un rosa che tende al viola e non ha nessun tipo di glitter.
Tutti i rossetti hanno al loro interno il primer che promette una durata di otto ore, ne ho indossato uno la scorsa sera e onestamente la durata non è male, ma non posso dire che sia di otto ore.
La texture è molto cremosa, si stendono con molta facilità, sono pigmentati e coprenti e forse anche per questo non hanno quella durata tipica dei rossetti più secchi e matte.
Come tutti i prodotti Clinique non hanno alcun profumo,  anche se io preferisco i rossetti profumati, soprattutto se vanigliosi, dolciosi, ma meglio nessun profumo che uno terribile.
Il mio verdetto? Ne voglio altri!

Mac Pedro Lourenço

New limited collection by MAC, this time in collaboration with Pedro Lourenço, famous brazilian fashion designer, yes because the Brasil world cup fever hits everything, even make up!

From the collection, inspired by nude tones and metallics, as seen on Lourenço's runaway, I chose two amplified lipsticks (17,50$ each).

Packaging is so chic, satin black with gold details.

The shades I chose are True Red and Ruby.

The first one it's a vivid orangy red with warm undertone, the second one is a darker red, with a cold undertone.

Both are so pigmented, one swipe and the lips gets a true color injection. They are not particularly drying, they are soft on the lips and super easy to apply.

Nuova collezione limited edition di MAC, questa volta in collaborazione con Pedro Lourenço, famoso stilista brasiliano, si perchè il pensiero dei mondiali contagia un po tutto, anche il make up!

Della collezione ispirata ai toni nude e metallici caratteristici delle passerelle dello stilista, ho scelto di acquistare due rossetti (20,50 euro ciascuno), entrambi dal finish amplified.

Packaging davvero chic, nero opaco e scritte oro a contrasto. 

I colori che ho scelto sono True Red e Ruby. 

Il primo è un rosso/arancione brillante dal sottotono caldo, il secondo è un rosso vivido più scuro, dal sottotono freddo. 

Sono entrambi pigmentatissimi, basta una passata e le labbra si accendono di un colore intenso, non seccano particolarmente le labbra, sono morbidi e facilissimi da applicare.
