YT COLLAB | ANASTASIA BEVERLY HILLS X JACKIE AINA EYESHADOW PALETTE

In the last few months ABH launched a pletora of products, so many that it's actually difficult keeping up with all the new releases.

One of the most anticipated for me was definitively the ABH x Jackie Aina eyeshadow palette ($ 45), a huge american youtuber that I've been following for a while.

The packaging is a 100% Jackie, it has this faux snake skin print all over it and also this shift from purple to green that makes it very unique.

The JA logo was actually created by her fiancé Dennis, it adds another personal touch to her product.

The color scheme is very interesting, we have bright, intense and saturated eyeshadows, all very pigmented.

We have six mattes, three different shades of brown (Ginger, Edges and Credit) and three of pink/purple (Supreme, Pinker e Big Wig), five shimmer (Soleil, Lituation, Wiggalese, Shookington and Sponsored), two that to me seem like pressed pigments (Dwollahs e Zamn) and one that I would describe as a top coat full of gold and lime green glitters (Trust Issues).

Like all ABH eyeshadow they have a little bit of kick back, but nothing crazy.

Withe two pressed pigments, an antique gold with green reflects and a rose gold with copper reflects, I experienced a bit of fall out, you only need to do the eyes first and then the base or you could bake under the eyes and then dust the excess powder with the eyeshadow's residue that might have fallen.

I applied these eyeshadow using my concealer as a base, as I normally do, and they lasted a long time.

Somebody said this palette works only for medium to dark skin tones and I can see why, but I have to disagree.

These colours are meant to work for medium to dark skin tones, I mean Jackie Aina created this palette and she's one of the most influent member of the Youtube black community why wouldn't she, giving the fact that still nowadays it's not that easy to find inclusive makeup products? 

But I can assure you this palette works beautifully even for super fair skin tones like mine, you only need to use these eyeshadows carefully, a little goes a long way and since they are so pigmented you need to work with little amount layering and blending.

I absolutely love this palette, I keep using it over and over and I think it's perfect for fall and even for winter.

In questo ultimo periodo ABH ha lanciato una pletora di nuovi prodotti, così tanti che è difficile stare al passo con tutte le nuove uscite.

Per me una delle più attese è stata sicuramente la palette (€ 50,90) creata in collaborazione con Jackie Aina, famosa youtuber americana che seguo da parecchio tempo.

Il packaging la rispecchia in pieno, la palette sembra ricoperta in pelle di serpente con riflessi olografici che la rendono davvero unica.

Il logo Ja è stato disegnato da Dennis, fidanzato di Jackie, elemento che regala alla palette un tocco ancora più personale.

La gamma cromatica scelta è sicuramente particolare, abbiamo ombretti dai colori intensi, saturi, tutti molto pigmentati.

Abbiamo sei ombretti opachi, tre sui toni del marrone (Ginger, Edges e Credit) e tre sui toni del rosa e del viola (Supreme, Pinker e Big Wig); cinque shimmer (Soleil, Lituation, Wiggalese, Shookington e Sponsored), due pigmenti pressati (Dwollahs e Zamn) ed infine una cialda che definirei quasi un top coat con glitter dorati e verde lime (Trust Issues).

Come tutti gli ombretti di ABH anche questi hanno un po' di kick back, ma niente di esagerato.

Con i due pigmenti pressati, un oro antico con riflessi verdi ed un oro rosa tendente al bronzo, ho riscontrato maggiore fall out, basta truccare prima gli occhi e poi fare la base oppure applicare molta cipria sotto gli occhi per poi rimuoverla con il pennello ed eliminare così l'eccesso di ombretto caduto.

Ho applicato questi ombretti con un correttore come base e la durata è stata ottima anche senza setting spray.

C'è chi ha sostenuto che questa palette sia adatta esclusivamente ad incarnati medio-scuri, ed in effetti questi colori sono stati pensati per essere adatti a questo tipo di incarnati, cosa che trovo assolutamente normale visto che Jackie Aina è una delle più influenti esponenti della black community su You Tube e che nel mercato ancora oggi non è così facile reperire prodotti adatti alle carnagioni scure.

Vi posso assicurare comunque che questa palette funziona benissimo anche su pelli chiarissime come la mia.

Basta semplicemente dosare gli ombretti, sono tutti estremamente pigmentati e basta veramente prelevarne poco per avere un'ottima scrivenza.

A me questa palette piace moltissimo, i colori sono ricchi e non scontati, la sto utilizzando veramente spesso e penso sia perfetta per questa stagione autunnale, ma anche per quella invernale.

SEPHORA ITALIA LOVES ANASTASIA DAY 3 - GLOW KIT

We are now on day 3 of my mini serie dedcated to Anastasia Beverly Hills (here you can find day 1 and day 2) since this brand is now finally available at Sephora Italia.

Today we change subject and we go straight to the glow.

We all know highlighters are a thing, whether you prefer a natural glow, or you are more a see me from space kind of person, highlighting is a must.

ABH years ago introduced single shades of highlighters and everyone was obsessed, than she came out with kits and everyone freaked out.

I got the Sugar Glow Kit (€ 47,50), which is one of her latest one and I absolutely love it.

The four pans are large, you definitively need time to go through them.

They are also replaceable so you can customize your kit.

They mealt into the skin leaving a beautiful glow that you can layer untill you blind everyone in the galaxy.

I personally use a Wayne Goss 02 powder brush to apply highlighters and it works wonders.

Glow Kits are available in different shades suitable for every skin tone, here's a link to see how they perform on a deeper complexion.

If it wasn't clear enough this product for me is a must have, I really enjoy ABH highlighters.

Siamo al terzo giorno della mia mini serie di post dedicati ad Anastasia Beverly Hills (qui potete trovare il giorno 1 ed il giorno 2), brand finalmente disponibile da Sephora Italia.

Oggi cambiamo argomento e andiamo diretti all'illuminante.

Sappiamo tutti ormai da tempo che gli illuminanti sono un prodotto di culto, sia che uno apprezzi di più il look naturale, sia che voglia essere avvistato dallo spazio, l'illuminante è un must.

ABH anni fa lanciò delle cialde singole di illuminanti e diventarono un'ossessione collettiva, poi fu il turno dei Glow Kit e tutti impazzirono anche per quelli.

Io ho acquistato lo Sugar Glow Kit (€ 47,50), che è uno degli ultimi usciti, e lo adoro.

Le quattro cialde sono piuttosto larghe, sicuramente per finirle ci vorrà un bel pezzo.

Sono anche sostituibili, quindi potete personalizzare il vostro kit come volete.

Si fondono con la pelle regalando una bellissima luce che potete stratificare fino ad abbagliare una galassia.

Io applico gli illuminanti con lo 02 powder brush di Wayne Goss ed è veramente magico.

I glow Kit sono disponibili in varie tonalità per differenti incarnati, vi lascio il link per vederli applicati su pelle scura.

Se on fosse ancora chiaro io adoro i Glow Kit e credo che siano assolutamente un prodotto must have.

SEPHORA ITALIA LOVES ANASTASIA DAY 2 - SOFT GLAM EYESHADOW PALETTE

Day 2 of my mini serie all dedicated to Anastasia Beverly Hills, because finally this brand arrived at Sephora Italia.

It's time for another of my favourite eyeshadow palette: the Soft Glam.

This palette actually came out not so long ago and I must say at first it seemed very basic to me.

Since I'm used to ABH quality I wanted to test it out and I'm so glad I did because it's the perfect earthy natural shades palette.

It has the classic velvet packaging, a nice mirror, a dual ended brush and 14 eyeshadows.

It's a warm-toned neutral palette with a combination of matte and shimmers eyeshadows, light and dark shades.

Five eyeshadows (Tempera, Burnt Orange, Cyprus and Umber) are part of the permanent ABH line and are also inside the Modern Renaissance palette.

As per usual all the shadows are very pigmented and blendable, the chromatic range is complete, which means you can definitively pull off a variety of looks from this palette alone.

This palette would be nice for beginners as well, since it's so easy to use.

If you have to choose weather to buy the Soft Glam or the Modern Renaissance (click here to read my review), it all depends on which colour scheme you like the most.

I personally like them both, but I do prefer the touch of pink in the Modern Renaissance palette.

E' il secondo giorno della mia mini serie di post dedicati ad Anastasia Beverly Hills, brand finalmente disponibile anche da Sephora Italia.

Siamo nuovamente alle prese con una delle mie palette preferite: la Soft Glam.

Questa palette è abbastanza recente e a dire la verità ammetto che al primo impatto mi è sembrata un po' scontata.

Visto però che conosco la qualità dei prodotti ABH ho deciso di provarla e meno male che l'ho fatto!

E' la palette "naturale" per eccellenza.

Ha il classico packaging vellutato, un bello specchio, un pennello doppio e 14 ombretti.

E' una palette dai toni caldi e neutri, con una varietà di opachi e shimmer ed un range che va dai colori più chiari a quelli più scuri.

5 (Tempera, Burnt Orange, Cyprus e Umber) di questi ombretti fanno parte della linea permanente di ABH e li troviamo anche nella Modern Renaissance.

Come al solito gli ombretti sono tutti pigmentati, scriventi e si sfumano facilmente, la gamma cromatica è completa, ciò vuol dire che potete creare vari look usando esclusivamente questa palette.

Penso che la combinazione dei colori e la sfumabilità degli ombretti rendano la Soft Glam sia adatta anche ai principianti.

Quale palette acquistare tra la Modern Renaissance (di cui trovata qui la review) e la Soft Glam? Dipende proprio da quali colori vi piacciono di più, io le amo entrambe, ma prediligo i tocchi di rosa della Modern Renaissance.

SEPHORA ITALIA LOVES ANASTASIA DAY 1 - MODERN RENAISSANCE PALETTE

Finally Anastasia Beverly Hills arrived at Sephora Italia, but being the beauty addict that I am, I already own tons of her makeup products, so I thought I could review my favourites bits to help my fellow italian beauty lovers shopping all that good stuff.

I'm starting this week's special post serie with the eyeshadow palette that changed the game a few years ago: the Modern Renaissance (€ 49).

Before warm tones eyeshadows were the only thing we put on our lids, the beauty industry was overwhelmed with the same boring colors range palette, and that's why this one was so different.

It was a new take on neutral shades, the colors scheme is beautiful and it works, this palette is complete, you can definitively travel with only this one and call it a day.

The packaging feels luxurious even though it gets dirty pretty easily since it's velvet.

Inside we have a nice large mirror, a dual ended brush that I actually use when in a hurry and of course the starts of the show 14 eyeshadows.

We have matte and shimmers, cool and warm undertones, light and dark shades, we have it all.

The shadows blend effortlessly, they have a little kick back in the pan, but nothing major, you can definitively pull off many looks with them.

If I wasn't clear enough, I love this palette, I think it's a must have and I totally get why it was so hyped up when it first came out.

I'm glad we can finally buy it in Italy as well!

Finalmente Anastasia Beverly Hills è arrivata da Sephora Italia!

Visto che sono una vera beauty addict ho già parecchi prodotti, quindi ho pensato di fare questa mini serie per descrivere un po' i miei preferiti e chissà magari anche aiutarvi con lo shopping.

Cominciamo con una palette che qualche anno fa creò un vero caso di ossessione collettiva: la Modern Renaissance (€ 49).

Prima che gli ombretti caldi fossero l'unica cosa da applicare sulle nostre palpebre, l'industria del make up era saturata da palette noiose e ripetitive ed ecco perchè questa palette era così diversa.

Era una nuova prospettiva sui colori neutri, la gamma cromatica è molto bella, ma soprattutto funziona, è una palette completa, si può portare in viaggio da sola senza sentire la mancanza di altri colori.

Il packaging in velluto rosa è davvero lussuoso, anche se onestamente si sporca facilmente.

La palette contiene uno specchio, un pennello doppio che uso spesso quando sono di fretta e ovviamente i 14 ombretti.

Ci sono colori opachi e shimmer, con sottotoni freddi e caldi, tonalità chiare e scure, insomma ce n'è davvero per tutti i gusti.

Gli ombretti si sfumano facilmente, hanno un po di fall out ma niente di trascendentale, sono perfetti per poter creare molteplici look.
Visto che ho la pelle chiarissima, vi lascio il link ad un video YouTube per vedere come questi colori risultano su di un incarnato più scuro (minuto 2.52).

Se ancora non l'avete capito io adoro questa palette, credo proprio che sia un must have e capisco perfettamente perchè sia diventata un prodotto cult.

Sono proprio contenta che sia disponibile finalmente anche in Italia!
