They told us it wouldn't have been available in Italy, but then during my summer holidays lazy browsing Sephora Italia's website I spotted it, the Semi Sweet Chocolate (45,00 Euros) palette by Too Faced.
I've read a lot of discording review about this palette, but since I had a 20% off coupon I decided to give it a try and I also got some Melted lipsticks, because I wanted to try them since for ever!
Avevano detto che in Italia non sarebbe mai arrivata e invece quest'estate in uno dei classici momenti di dolce far niente spulciando il sito di Sephora l'ho vista, la Semi Sweet Chocolate Bar (45 Euro) di Too Faced.
Ho letto recensioni discordanti su questa palette, ma approfittando del 20% di sconto ho deciso di metterla alla prova, aggiungendoci anche i Melted Lipstick che volevo provare da secoli.
The packaging is almost identical to the previous Chocolate Bar palette (you can find my review here), with some improvement to notice.
The case is actually slimmer and less bulky, but the best thing is that all the eyeshadows names are written under their pan.
Pigmentation is nice, with the exception of Pink Sugar and Blueberry Swirl, which I expected much more vibrant.
It has 16 eyeshadows with a good variety of neutral colors, matte and shimmers, and it's very easy to pull off a lot of nude looks that you can spice it up with the darkest shades.
It smells, of course, like delicious chocolate and you have to force yourself to not dare and bite it!
Il packaging è praticamente identico alla scorsa Chocolate Bar (potete trovare qui la mia review), con qualche miglioramento.
La palette è più sottile e meno ingombrante, ma soprattutto i nomi degli ombretti sono scritti sotto ciascuna cialda e non sulla plastichina protettiva come nella Chocolate Bar.
La pigmentazione è abbastanza buona, facendo eccezione per Pink Sugar, che è praticamente invisibile, e Blueberry Swirl, che onestamente mi aspettavo molto più intenso.
Ci sono 16 ombretti con una buona selezione colori, c'è una buona scelta tra matte e shimmer e nel complesso mi sembra una palette molto carina e versatile per un trucco piuttosto neutro da accentuare con gli ombretti più scuri.
Ovviamente il profumo di cioccolato è paradisiaco, bisogna resistere e non tentare di assaggiarla!

I chose, as usual, some intense colors (I'm trying to wear more nudes, but it's so hard for me!), a juicy strawberry red, a bright fuchsia and a deep berry:

Ho scelto, come al solito, tonalità intense e vibranti (sto cercando di convertirmi ai nude, ma con estrema fatica!), un rosso fragola, un fuchsia e un lampone scuro:
They are super pigmented and a little bit runny, so you better be patient and apply them carefully since they tend to stain.
I love these colors, so bright and opaque, they definitely catch all the attention.
They feel nice and smooth on the lips, once they dry they settle, without drying your lips too much.
I would love to try more colors!

La consistenza è molto liquida, quindi vanno applicati con attenzione visto che sono molto pigmentati e tendono a macchiare le labbra.
I colori sono stupendi, super luminosi, sicuramente non passano inosservati.
Sono piacevoli sulle labbra, una volta che si asciugano il colore si fissa, senza seccare particolarmente le labbra.
Sicuramente voglio provare altri colori!
