ROUND UP LATEST MAC COLLECTIONS (CINDERELLA, BAO BAO & TOLEDO)

During the last few months MAC came out with a bunch of new limited edition collections, as usual the beautiful packagings got me from the second I saw them (LOL) but I was "brave" enough to pick only the things I really liked and needed.
Let's begin:

CINDERELLA

This collection came out with the famous Disney movie.
The packaging it's a cute baby blue that reminds me of Cinderella's stunning dress at the ball (even Prince Charming is not that bad!).
The first thing I got from this collection was the Stroke of Midnight Eyeshadows palette, it has 6 eyeshadows, 5 of them are part of the permanent range (Vapour, Phloof, Omega, Quarry e Satin Taupe) and the last one (Stroke of Midnight) is limited edition.
They are all very pigmented and buttery, they apply evenly and easily, with the exception of the limited edition one which is less soft than the others, but you will need just a little bit of patience and it will blend at some point.
I also got one of the pure pigment, I chose Pretty It Up, which is described as an olive green, but to me it's more like an ancient gold with silver sparkles, anyway it's very nice.

BAO BAO WAN

This is a collaboration with the famous jewels designer Bao Bao Wan, it's a collection clearly inspired by precious materials and gem stones.
The Jewels Eyeshadows Palette it's a clear example of that jewel team that inspired all the collection.
All the colors are glittery or shimmer, we have a rose gold, a yellow gold, a copper, a sparkly brown and a bluish grey.
I found the rose gold one a little bit more hard to blend because of the chunky glitters, but overall every color is very pigmented and blendable.
With a texture like that a little bit of fall out is understandable, that's why it's better to keep the base for last.
The Summer Opal Beauty Powder didn't get my attention at first, but then after using it in a MAC Tecnique class I totally fell in love with this product.
On my pale skin it's a perfect glowy soft blush that I usually apply for a natural look.
I'm usually very skeptical with highlighting products, because my skin tends to get oily, but this one doesn't have chunky glitters, it's a soft rosy glow that makes you look healthy and natural.
The only lipstick I got is Burmese Kiss, the most wereable of the tree in my opinion, which is a coral vibrant red with some pink.
It's super creamy and opaque, gorgeous color perfect for summer.

TOLEDO

This MAC collection feautured the famous artist duo Ruben and Isabel Toledo, painters, designers and so much more.
In fact the packaging is simply stunning, something to keep and collect!
I wish I could get two lipsticks, Oxblood and Victoriana, but they were sold out in a matter of seconds, so I got the lipglasses instead.
Oxblood is a pinky nude (even though the name suggest a inky vivid red), Victoriana is a pinky vibrant red.
Both very creamy and opaque, really lovely colors.
I also got one of the ombré blushes, I chose Ripe Peach.
it was impossible to swatch because the color doesn't show up on the hand, but it's gorgeous on the cheecks!
It's a soft peachy blush that gives that lovely bonne mine effect.

I hope you like this MAC round Up, next MAC post will be all about the Wash and dry collection, so stay tuned!
