PEARLMATTE FACE POWDER TROPHY

This is definitively the must have piece from this collection, the pictures of this illuminating powder could be found everywhere on social media, mainly for it's design so cute and different.

If you swirl the brush on the powder to pick up every shade, it turns in this beautiful perlescent highlighter, perfect for fair skin.

Sicuramente il pezzo cult di tutta la collezione, le foto di questa cipria illuminante sono rimbalzate per tutte i social, proprio per il suo design davvero particolare.

I colori insieme regalano questa perlescenza luminosa, perfetta come illuminante per pelli chiare.

CASUAL COLOR BLIND SCORE

Casual colors are meant to be used on the lips as well on the cheeks.

Even though is a cream product, it's very light and not sticky, it can be intensified by layering it, and it's super easy to blend.

This muted berry shade it's just perfect for fall.

I casual colors sono prodotti in crema che possono essere applicati sia sulle labbra che sulle guance.

Pur essendo in crema sono piuttosto leggeri e non appiccicosi, l'intensità del colore dipende dalla quantità di prodotto applicata, si sfumano facilmente.

Questo color lampone freddo è davvero molto bello, perfetto per l'autunno.

BOWL ME OVER, PERFECT SCORE

In this picture you can see all the lipstick swatches, except for the online exclusive Babes and Balls.

I really wanted that shade but it was already sold out.

From the lipstick I chose to get Bowl Me Over (the third one from the top), a dark burgundy almost brownish, the perfect '90 vampy lips so trendy right now, definitively the most interesting shade; Perfect Score (the fourth from the top) a matte intense cool toned red, so beautiful!

In questa foto trovate tutti gli swatches dei rossetti di questa collezione, ad eccezione di Babes and Balls che era acquistabile esclusivamente online e purtroppo era già sold out.

Tra i rossetti ho scelto Bowl Me Over (il terzo dall'alto), un retro matte borgogna scuro tendente al marrone, per delle vampy lips un po' anni '90, sicuramente il colore più particolare; Perfect Score (il quarto dall'alto) un rosso intenso opaco dal sottotono freddo, anche questo stupendo!

AUTUMN LEAF Bath Bomb

This autumn leaf shaped bath bomb is infused with patchouli and vanilla, it's spicy enough with the black pepper and it melts in the water and it feels like being in the woods with beautiful fall colors.

Una foglia d'autunno, arricchita dai profumi del patchouli e della vaniglia, speziata al punto giusto dal pepe nero. Si scioglie nella vasca trasportandoci in un bosco autunnale.

BOO Luxury Bath Melt

Boo is perfect to pamper the skin, with delicious ginger and mimosa, and biologic cocoa butter for extra hydration.

GOTH FAIRY

This bath bomb is from the previous Halloween collection, it has a red heart that comes out when it melts.

It has sweet vanilla and sandal as well as spicy black pepper and patchouli.

LORD OF MISRULE

This shower gel from the past Halloween collection has the same ingredients as the same name bath bomb, vanilla, sandal, patchouli and black pepper, a real treat for your skin.

Questo gel da doccia della scorsa collezione di halloween ha gli stessi ingredienti dell'omonima bomba da bagno, vaniglia, sandalo, patchouli e pepe nero, una vera coccola per la pelle.

MAGIC WAND

This soap is infused with tangerine, orange and pomegranate, very fresh and fall appropriate.

MAC VIVA GLAM | ARIANA GRANDE 1,2

If you follow me on this blog you know by now how much I support Viva Glam project by MAC, this initiative allows MAC to donate all the Viva Glam selling profits to the MAC AIDS FUND, to support those who are affected by AIDS and its social stigma.

Last two Viva Glam amazing testimonial was Ariana Grande, who seemed to create these shades to express two opposite aspects of her personality.

On one side we have the glosses, pink and transparent to represent her sweetness and her good girl vibe, on the other side we have the lipsticks, so intense and colorfull, to express her sensuality and her braveness.

Let's take a closer look:

Se mi seguite sul blog sapete che sono una grande fan del progetto Viva Glam di MAC, l'iniziativa che consente, tramite l'acquisto di un rossetto e di un gloss, di devolvere tutto il ricavato della vendita al MAC AIDS FUND, un fondo benefico che si occupa di sostenere coloro che sono colpiti dall'AIDS e dal suo stigma sociale.

Testimonial d'eccezione per gli ultimi due Viva Glam è Ariana Grande, che sembra aver scelto i colori dei rossetti e dei gloss evidenziando due aspetti un po' contraddittori della sua personalità.

Da una parte la sua dolcezza e la sua aria da brava ragazza corrisponde al rosa trasparente dei gloss, dall'altra la sua voglia di rompere gli schemi e la sua sensualità che irrompe nei colori decisi dei rossetti, ma guardiamoli più da vicino:

VIVA GLAM ARIANA GRANDE I

This lipstick is very intense, it's a dark burgundy matte shade, the lipglass instead is a sheer pink with gold and pink sparkles.
I found the lipstick quite difficult to apply, so I suggest you to apply before a lip pencil to obtain a more even application.

Il rossetto è un borgogna scuro, intenso, dal finish opaco, mentre il lipglass è un rosa chiaro trasparente con glitter rosa e oro.

Ho riscontrato qualche difficoltà nell'applicazione del rossetto, quindi consiglio di applicare prima una matita per ottenere un'applicazione più omogenea.

 VIVA GLAM ARIANA GRANDE II

Even this lipstick is a show stopper, it's a vivid bright purple with pink undertones and a satin finish.
It's very pigmented and opaque, super easy to apply and longlasting.
The lipglass it's a light mauve with some gold and pink sparkles, it's a lovely wearable nude.

Anche questo rossetto non passa inosservato, è un viola chiaro, molto acceso, dal sottotono rosa, lievemente satinato. 

E' davvero pigmentato e coprente, si applica facilmente ed ha un'ottima durata.

Il lipglass è di un color malva chiaro, con qualche glitter oro e rosa, un nude davvero bello e portabile.

MUFE NEW ARTIST ROUGE | La Truccheria

Recently MUFE relaunched and revamped their lipstick range with the Artist Rouge, new formula and an incredible range of colors.
I'm lucky enough to have a flagship store in my city (Bologna), which is called La Truccheria and it's also a MUFE Accademy (where you can train to become a certified Mua), and that's why I got to partecipate to the new Rouge Artist launch.
I'm very recognizable at this type of event, because after swaching products over and over again I always look like I just finished a body painting session!
But let's focus on these new lipsticks.
There are 46 shades, each one is classified with a letter (M=Matte, C=Créme) and a number.
MUFE developed a new technology, so the pigments are refined three times to guarantee maximum color impact, and since the pigments are combined with  transparent oil they come out pure and unalterated.
They actually used specific waxes to increase the lipsticks' lasting power, candelilla for matte shades (they should last 10 hours) and sunflower seeds for the creamy ones (they should last up to 8 hours).
In the formula there are as well macadamia and mallow oils, perfect to hydrate and prevent dryness, or Sahara desert as I use to call it.
The packaging is very sleek, it combines matte black and bright silver, and the lipstick bullet shape it's perfect for a smooth and precise application, you could even skip the lip pencil.
MUFE teamed up with the popular Swedish duo Icona Pop and collaborated to create two limited edition shades inspired by the band elekro punk sound, C 603 edgy blue and M 401 classic red.

Recentemente la MUFE ha rilanciato i suoi rossetti Artist Rouge, con una formulazione tutta nuova ed un'incredibile selezione di colori.

Ho la fortuna di avere nella mia città un loro punto vendita esclusivo, La Truccheria, che è anche Accademy (la loro scuola per diventare Mua certificati) e ho così potuto partecipare all'evento dedicato ai nuovissimi Artist Rouge lipsticks.

Io mi faccio sempre riconoscere, perchè sono quella che fa swatches di tutto a ripetizione e a fine serata sembro appena uscita da una seduta di body painting.

Ma concentriamoci su questi bellissimi rossetti.

Ci sono 46 tonalità tutte contraddistinte da una M (Matte) o una C (Créme) che identificano il finish del rossetto.

Grazie ad un processo di tripla raffinazione, i pigmenti del colore risultano incredibilmente vividi, ed essendo miscelati con un olio trasparente si mantengono puri, inalterati. 

La durata è amplificata grazie all'utilizzo di cere particolari, la candelilla per i rossetti opachi  (per cui MUFE promette una durata di 10 ore) e semi di girasole per i rossetti cremosi (per cui MUFE promette una durata di 8 ore).

All'interno dei rossetti troviamo anche olio di malva e olio di macadamia, che idratano le labbra e ne prevengono la secchezza, o l'effetto siccità come dico io.

Il packaging combina il nero satinato al metallo, semplice ma d'impatto, la forma del rossetto così smussata permette un'applicazione molto precisa, si potrebbe quasi fare a meno della matita.

Testimone d'eccezione per i nuovi Artist Rouge è il duo svedese Icona Pop, che hanno creato in collaborazione con MUFE due rossetti in edizione limitata che rappresentano il loro stile elektro punk: C 603 un blu eccentrico e M 401 un rosso classico.

MAC GOOD LUCK TROLLS

With this collection MAC brought us back straight to the '80, when every kid used to have these funny little dolls with fluorescent hair.

The packaging is very loud and bright, a little troll is carved on eyeshadows and beauty powder.

Con questa collezione MAC ci ha riportati direttamente negli anni '80, quando più o meno tutti i bambini in casa avevano una di queste bamboline dalla buffa chioma fluo.

Il packaging è super colorato, sugli ombretti e gli illuminanti è impressa la forma di un piccolo troll.

PARADISCO Eyeshadow

This eyeshadow is not limited edition, but I got it anyway because I really love the packaging and the color.

It's a corally pink with a gold shine, it's pigmented and easy to blend, I really love this color!

Questo ombretto fa parte della collezione permanente, ma ho deciso comunque di prenderlo in questo packaging in edizione limitata perchè mi piace moltissimo.

E' un rosa corallo con riflessi doratti davvero particolare, è pigmentato e si sfuma molto bene, davvero un bellissimo colore!

GLITTER GRUNGE Lipglass

To me this is the most wearable, still not obvious, lipglass from this collection.

It's a dark berry with cool undertones with purple and silver glitters, so beautiful!

Tra i quattro lipglass questo, a mio parere, è il più portabile e allo stesso tempo il meno scontato.

E' un color lampone scuro dal sottotono freddo con riflessi viola e argento, davvero bello. 

PLAY IT PROPER Beauty Powder

Beauty powders can be applied as highlighters, blushes or all over powders.

Since I've combination to oily skin I prefer to apply them only as an highlighter.

This one is a light pastel pink, very delicate, perfect for my fair skin.

Even if it's quite subtle, it's still pigmented and easy to blen.

Le beauty powder possono essere applicate come illuminanti, blush oppure su tutto il viso. 

Avendo la pelle mista, preferisco utilizzare una cipria opacizzante ed applicare le beauty powder esclusivamente come illuminanti.

Questa in particolare è un rosa pastello delicatissimo, perfetto per la mia pelle chiarissima.

E' un illuminante molto tenue, ma pigmentato e facilmente sfumabile.

REFLECTS TRANSPARENT TEAL

This transparent glitter with teal sparkles really caught my eye. 

It's barely visible from the swatch, but I imagine it layered on top of a matte dark eyeshadow, maybe a grey, I think it would turn out gorgeous.

Questi glitter trasparenti con un riflesso verde acqua mi hanno subito colpito. Lo swatch non rende particolarmente, ma io li immagino applicati sopra ad un ombretto opaco, magari un grigio scuro, credo che possano rendere un look davvero particolare.
